Bitcoin has lived in my mind rent free everyday for over a decade.

I can't believe how good the game theory of Bitcoin is. Amazes me everyday.
The block size
The supply cap
The difficulty adjustment (absolute genius)
The ~10min block intervals
The fee market
The private/public keys
The UTXO set
The p2p network
The adversarial and anti-fragile nature of it all
Just incredible foresight. Never seen anything like it before.
When you realise computers and the internet are tools for freedom, not just entertainment...

DIY MULTISIGNATURE WALLETS FOR SELF CUSTODY
There's been a bit of chatter around DIY multisignature wallets using hardware wallets from different vendors. As you dip your toes into it, here are some questions you might want to ask yourself.👇
1. What do I need to back up? What exactly am I backing up here?
2. What do I do if I lose one of the hardware devices?
3. What do I do if one hardware device is compromised?
4. What do I do if a hardware device updates to a new firmware that is no longer compatible with the multisignature software tool I'm using?
5. What do I do if the multisignature software tool I'm using is no longer compatible with a hardware device I'm using?
6. How often do I check my hardware devices to see if they're still functioning?
7. How often do I update the firmware to my hardware devices? Will this break anything? Have I tested post firmware update?
8. Where do I physically store my hardware devices?
9. Where do I store the seeds to the hardware devices?
10. Have I tested recovering my multisignature wallet?
11. Have I tested recovering my multisignature wallet in an alternative software to the multisignature tool I'm currently using? Do I get the same result?
12. Have I tested creating and signing a transaction from my multisignature wallet using all possible combinations?
13. If I need to restore my multisignature wallet, does the order of the devices matter in the software tool I'm using? Have I tested this?
14. Device specific considerations - Would you be comfortable with keeping (for eg) a Trezor One in a location that others have access to?
15. Have I thought about this setup from an inheritance perspective in the event something unforeseen were to happen to me?
Side note: some examples of multisignature wallet software tools include electrum, caravan, specter, sparrow and lily.
Whilst multisignature wallets add considerable security to your Bitcoin, DIY options right now present opportunities to shoot yourself in the foot if you're not careful. Some of the questions are deeply personal.
It takes time and effort to understand the complexities involved.
Freedom doesn't come for free.
Have they considered stopping the printing of money?

Search "bring back the guillotine" on Twitter and click the Latest tab.
Thousands of hits. Thousands. Well before I tweeted it.
Yet my account is the one that gets permanently banned.
Sus af.
PSA: The electricity at my place will be out tomorrow from 7am to 5pm AEST (ridiculous, I know).
As such, the Ministry of Nodes website, webstore and BTCPayServer will be down.
Not your keys, not your coins.
Not your node, not your rules.
Not your home, not your hash.
Not your ISP, not your connection.
Not your grid, not your power.
"Bring back the guillotine" chanted on Twitter.
Next day Daniel Andrews, Premier of Victoria resigns.
🤔
"Bring back the guillotine" tweets are getting more attention on Twitter than my original post ever did.
Streisand effect, phenomenon in which an attempt to censor, hide, or otherwise draw attention away from something only serves to attract more attention to it.
How scared must they be if low level shit kicker Twitter accounts like mine are permanently banned for even joking about death penalty consequences for politicians?
Remember when everyone started Googling "mass formation psychosis" and Google put up this disclaimer?
Never forget.

STATEMENT REGARDING MY TWITTER/X ACCOUNT
Today, my Twitter/X account was permanently banned and my appeal to have it overturned was denied.
There was no warning issued, no 2 week suspension, no option to delete the offending tweet. Just straight permanent deplatform.
My offending tweet?
"Bring back the guillotine."
I quote tweeted this sentence to the video presented here on 3rd September.
Someone reported the tweet and my account was irretrievably shut down on the basis of violating rules against violent speech.
The vaccines (and vaccine mandates) caused so much harm to people all over the world. Many lost their livelihoods, incomes, businesses, marriages, families, confidence and will to live. Some lost their good health and worse, some lost their lives. The coercion to get vaccinated was immense, and to be told "it was a choice" is a kick to the teeth. Today, many regret having taken the vaccine.
My crime? I dared open up the conversation on how best to hold decision makers accountable for their decisions.
Meanwhile, other Twitter handles are able to post these and keep their accounts. The inconsistencies and arbitrary nature of these suspensions is ashtonishing.
Having said that, I fully accept the consequences of my actions.
On a brighter, more productive note, I'm proud to have educated thousands on my YouTube channel (Ministry of Nodes) on how to hold their own keys and run their own Bitcoin node such that these arbitrary decisions can't be made with people's money. I'm convinced it will get worse, and that we need Bitcoin more than ever.
As part of my educational content, I also sell plug & play Bitcoin Nodeboxes to those who want to quickly get up and running without the steep learning curve that goes behind it. Have a watch of how easy it can be.
I'm offering 10% off to those who purchase a Nodebox with the discount code GUILLOTINE for a limited time.
