Fascinating that Bhutan is among the first nation-states to adopt Bitcoin. Anyone know the origin story? Cant find it in detail online.
A revelation born from spiritual practice and a long devote connection to gold? Or a pragmatic move by a hydro-power-rich nation recognizing its natural advantage?

I spent the morning chatting with friends deeply immersed in the ‘crypto’ world. They argued that technology always evolves, so in their view, Bitcoin (BTC) will eventually become obsolete.
I countered by pointing out that gold has served as money for thousands of years because of its unique and enduring qualities - and that btc improves on those qualities 10x fold.
This reminded me of the peace that comes from understanding Bitcoin—the simplicity and clarity.
Curious what other points could be made?
