This is true… but spam is still garbage that slows TPS for real transactions, making bitcoin less usable for daily transactions. Although, Knots filtering only leads to this miner centralization behavior — which also reduces bitcoin’s usefulness. It’s a classic trade-off and a new answer is needed, not Core or Knots.
