Today I visited Yangdong Folk Village in Gyeongju, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Loved how authentic and well-preserved it is!
Founded in the 15th century, it’s the largest traditional village in Korea, showcasing Confucian culture and hanok houses. 🇰🇷
The Petronas Towers were the tallest buildings in the world 🏙️ from 1998 to 2004, standing at 452 meters.
And because they are twin towers, even though taller skyscrapers exist today, they are still the tallest twin towers in the world 🇲🇾
the Temple of Aphaia on Aegina,
dedicated to the local goddess Aphaia
was completed around 500 BC, making it older than Athens’ Acropolis!
Built on top of earlier temples, it’s a Doric masterpiece whose pediments mark the shift from Archaic to Early Classical Greek art
