I had a thought about #Nostr which I shall explain with the help of an example.
I recently went to visit the Khajuraho Group of Temples located in the city of Khajuraho in India. There is technically not just one group of temples, there are 3 groups across the city but the earliest of these temples were built around 950 AD while most were built before 1192 AD.
The story behind these temples is that despite the Hindu King Prithviraja III losing the Second Battle of Tarain in 1192 AD and Khajuraho’s local rulers (Chandela Dynasty) crumbling soon after by the year 1205 AD… there was nothing that stopped the invaders from destroying their temples but Hindus kept these temples alive and kicking for as long as they could so the future generations could keep experiencing the glory, history, architecture and culture that these temples act as a living proof of.
As a Hindu, even for me it was mesmerising to see the architecture that formed our culture. I have attached the images of the temples, the walls and the zoomed in photos of the intricate carvings on their walls.
On this visit is when I understood that when the legacy media starts to force users to upload their IDs and suppress the free-speech of the users. #Nostr will still be here. WE will STILL be here - Protecting Nostr like a temple of free speech.
