💡 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄-𝗛𝗼𝘄: 𝗔 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿!) 💡 In my relentless quest to understand how to use AI in businesses, through experiments and a few failures (sometimes I reinvented the wheel! 😉), I've stumbled upon a use case that really lit up my brain: knowledge management! 🚀 Think about company know-how... lying forgotten! 😔 I'm not just talking about digital files lost in shared folders, but also crucial information hidden in: • 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀: How many times do we find outdated operating procedures (SOPs) that nobody really knows how to apply? 🤦‍♂️ • 𝗨𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀: The "tricks of the trade" of the most experienced employees, which remain in their heads (or, worse, in a forgotten Excel file)? 🤫 • 𝗨𝗻𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: The skills of employees, perhaps acquired over years of experience, that haven't been formalized and shared with the rest of the team? 🤷‍♀️ But what if we used AI to transform this chaos into active knowledge? Imagine: • 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 automatically all this information, both digitized and not? (AI, with NLP and text mining, even indexes scanned paper files!) • 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 the right know-how to the right people, at the right time? (Not just with a search, but proactively!) • 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 our knowledge continuously, not only by identifying gaps, but also by proposing the most suitable training material for each individual's needs. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘁... ...that was our "expert" in company knowledge? 🤖 Imagine: • A 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 asking, "How do I record an invoice?" ➡️ The chatbot searches the knowledge base (manuals, procedures, examples) and provides the exact answer, maybe with a video tutorial. • A 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 asking, "What are the skills of the marketing team?" ➡️ The chatbot analyzes the LinkedIn profiles of employees, the projects they have participated in, and the results achieved, identifying strengths and potential training needs. • A 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 that's about to face a new project. The chatbot suggests the most relevant documents, resources, and experts, accelerating the start of the work. You don't need to be a code expert to make all of this a reality. Tools like Google AI Studio, Gemini, ChatGPT, and Copilot are becoming more and more accessible and user-friendly. You just need to learn how to use them strategically! 😉 In the coming days, I'll share some more concrete ideas on how to apply AI to Knowledge Management (and more!).
