I didn't actually think the new battle pass was "that" bad but I got burned out of rs and haven't honestly been able to play too much. That's a huge drop right when CG was looking to sell Jagex. They pumped the hero pass to boost sales numbers so they could double down on the sale. They were looking to sell ~$1B after buying for ~$500m. They probably could have found someone too. It sucks even more after the last dozen or so banger updates, necromancy, woodcutting and construction reworks, Fort forinthy. All great content, hope they can get the player base back bc I honestly think rs3 is one of the best mmorpgs if not the best
