A sound cannon was used on a crowd in Belgrade, Serbia, a weapon that is legally forbidden in the country. To make it worse, it was used during a 15 minute silence held in memory of 15 people who died due to corruption. I was there, it was terrifying. If the crowd had reacted differently, thousands could have died in a stampede.
