This was my change in a Cafe in Harare today. As inflation is going wild - exchange rate was 1 USD : 200 Zimbabwe Dollar one year ago and is 1 : 8,000 today! - everyone who can get a hold of USD is using it. Only problem: there are no coins, which means if something costs 2,50 USD you need to pay 3. Only option is to ask if they can give you something else as change. This biscuit was my 50 Cents change. And you should never take a torn banknote as someone else won’t accept it.

I stopped recommending Ledger a while ago. Not only have they „lost“ sensitive customer data more than one time, added KYC to their recover option, they literally want to spy on your behavior. Kudos to @Wallet of Satoshi for not bowing to KYC requirements. Custodial wallets that don’t comply to regulations won’t survive in the long run. Self-custody is the way to go.

Does anyone know if #BlueWallet is still maintained? Since they deprecated the custodial LN wallets and the announcement regarding self custody LN I haven’t heard anything in months.
