did green day’s ‘dookie’ album do more or less to advance the punk scene in the 90s? the answer is more. purists hated them because they ‘sold out’, but more people discovered bands like rancid and nofx because of that album, and dug deeper down the rabbit hole to find more. for many, punk rock became their identity. that is what is happening to btc now. you can hate the suits - and i do not exactly like them myself - but do not underestimate the minority of passionate btc die hards that will ultimately funnel down because of what is happening. each and every one of them will matter when the real clash for sovereignty hits war-like proportions.

want to help normies understand everything? stop saying stuff like ‘scott bessent has $2 trillion of bonds he needs to sell.’ instead, say ‘the US needs a big loan and is running out of lenders.’ simple.

can the nostr community give me thoughts on TSA pre-check? my gal and i are in a dispute about it. she has it, i don’t, it bothers her when we travel, and i don’t plan to get pre-check anytime soon for reasons that would probably resonate with those reading this. would love to hear from nostr folks that DO have pre-check and why the pros outweigh the cons.

I had a stormy upbringing that has carried on into adult life (I haven’t talked to my mom in 4 years). to compound that, I struggled with social anxiety. I had few friends and often felt like an outsider. it was only in the punk rock scene that i discovered a sense of belonging. surrounded by other misfits, I found acceptance and understanding without judgment. These are my people—unconventional, free-spirited, and, unbeknownst to them, the future of Bitcoin. may we all sing loud and sing proud.

one of the more remarkable things in the btc space that no one talks about is that virtually every serious participant is self taught. no universities, no usd tuition, no homework, no bureaucracy, no nothing. just people learning amongst people. love it.

alright. so one of the small things i’ve come to value is a very green, finely cut lawn with flowers and plants to match. sounds stupid but i like what i like. my sprinklers just took a shit and the new, proper system i want is going to run me like $8k-$10k (something about buying btc not real estate…). anyway, i will just stack for now. yellow grass come july it is. we will have the finest green scenery in the land next year and beyond. btc > sprinklers. carry on.

everyone has a ‘to do’ list. i recommend a ‘to don’t’ list instead: 1. DON’T overcomplicate things 2. DON’T become consumed by negative possibilities 3. DON’T insist on perfection 4. DON’T do it alone 5. DON’T be bothered when things don’t go to plan I have had a sticky with these reminders the last 15 years. I hope they help you too.
