Good night, NOSTR Friends! The sun is nearly down for the day, the ducks are petting for the night, and the Robbin’s (my favorites) are finishing their evening songs. Almost everything is yet. I accomplished most of the tasks on my list today: there will be some carry-over to tomorrow. I did something today that I had never done before - I picked and processed (blanched) rhubarb. After if had time to cool a little, I vacuum sealed it in 2-cup portions for easy use later in pies. I hope that was a reasonable measure for use in pies - I should have checked before sealing the bags. Anyway. It is time to say goodnight. I hope you sleep well!

Good morning NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well! The skies in northern Ohio are overcast right now and it is 71 outside. The Weather App tells me it will be sunny with a high temp of 87 this afternoon. I’m on my way outside to do morning things with the ducks. Then I’ll harvest and process my rhubarb and strawberries, and make my way over to the raspberry patch to continue the never-ending task of weeding. I plan to listen to “Bitcoin and…” and @Nicole Sauce, @Jack Spirko, and John Lewis on their monthly Coffee Chat. I hope you have a productive day and get a lot done! Good evening, NOSTR Friends! Hope you had a great Monday! The weather in northern Ohio was absolutely beautiful today - clear skies & 78. I picked the first strawberries 🍓 of 2025 this morning (and ate them!!!), then I spent the day with my family at Cedar Point. My personal tracking device (cell phon) tells me I walked 3.8 miles today. I believe I will sleep well tonight. Now it is time to put the ducks 🦆 in their coop and sit in my favorite chair! Good night, NOSTR Friends! I hope your day was filled with good things, and your coffee cup did not stay empty long☕️! My day was largely spent at a 4H carwash fundraiser. While we were out I got a few bags of feed for the ducks, and fed them when I got home. Tonight was restful, and I was just wasting time on “X.” I have strawberries to pick tomorrow, and rhubarb, too. I looked on Google, and found it is best to blanch rhubarb for a minute before storing it in the freezer. Well, goodnight, friends! I don’t think I’ll be in there much this weekend - we will be gone a lot of tomorrow and Sunday. And I have to pick & process both strawberries & Rhubarb. I’ll be at a 4H car wash fundraiser tomorrow morning with my family. I read that the forecast is calling for a high temp of 61. I expect to be chilly. Hopefully nobody gets goofy and decides to spray the adults! Anyway, I am going to turn in for the night in a few minutes - sleep well!

I think I’m done outside. It has been misting outside for the past few hours, and I am losing interest in pulling thistles with bare hands. It hurts. I’m not sure what is next, but I’ll find something to do, or trouble to make. 😈 I hope everybody is having a great day!

Well, NOSTR Friends, the sun has set here in northern Ohio, and I am getting ready to head inside for the night. I finished weeding along my grapevines, weeded around the rhubarb, and started weeding the overgrown raspberry patch. It is amazing how quickly weeds grow! I used to roll my eyes when Mom likened weeds to bad habits that take root in an undisciplined life. Now my kids carry on the traditional eye-roll when I say the same things Mom told me those many years ago. Anyway…as of now I plan to work in the raspberry patch tomorrow. Weeding and tidying up rows, etc. I straightened out my Strike account - I did something incorrectly when verifying my ID (poor lighting & blurry photo when I uploaded my ID). So, now that that’s resolved I can get back to daily DCA after the first of the month Well, I’ve rambled on enough. Good night, everybody! Sleep well!
