Good morning, NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well this morning. It is sunny and 72 right now in Sandusky, Ohio, with the expected high temp of 83.
I am planning to pull weeds on the south side of the house and on the south side of the garage.
Well, I wish you a good day. Work hard and keep stacking Sats!

I live in Northern Ohio with my family. We raise ducks for eggs to sell & eat. My interests include raising ducks, gardening, cryptocurrency, and precious metals. We make and sell fresh-made meat-based dog- and cat-food.
Well, it is time to be done with work for the night, and look for dinner. I think I smell roast!
I did yard work today and went to the auction house this evening . There was no silver coin or bullion for me to buy, so I settled on a 9” Wagner Ware cast iron skillet. It is clean and in good condition, though not seasoned, and the brand is recognizable.
I am going to wash it up and see what it’ll do in the morning. I’m seeing fried eggs & potatoes for breakfast tomorrow…. 😋😋
Good night, NOSTR Friends! I hope you rest well tonight.
Today was nice. The temperature finally started to moderate, and there was no rain, though my youngest Little checked the Weather App multiple times hoping for changes (storms).
We were at a baby shower in anticipation of a new baby cousin joining the family in about 5 weeks - though it very well could be sooner.
This evening I made my work list for the week, and I am sure things will be added through the week.
It is almost time to order and pay for propane for the 2025/26 heating season. I have selected the amount of propane I intend to pre-buy. That’s gonna cost about 2.5 mortgage payments!
Well, have a good rest, and get up ready to do your work! Remember, work was given to humanity as a blessing, though we never seem to view it that way! 😊 In my case, the busier I stay with my work, the less time I have to be indoors causing trouble with the wife! 👹👺😝😈☠️☠️☠️
I was just watching Liberty and Finance (YouTube) and was again reminded how thankful that I learned at a (relatively) early age to serve real money. When I started saving, real money was gold or silver. Since then, Bitcoin was invented, and I still save in real money, though, with a house payment, a disability that leaves me unable to work, mortgage, and almost-grown family, I’m unable to save as much as I was able to when I was younger.😀
It is about time for me to hit the hay, all! I hope you sleep well!
County fair is over. The horses are back at their stable, ribbons have been earned, and we can now catch up on much-needed sleep!
Our middle “little” had a good 4H year, competed, won some ribbons, and got to spend long days with beloved “Dreamer” (leased horse). My wife is relieved that the week is over as she is our only driver. No more days starting at 5:30 to take “little” to the fairgrounds to start horse responsibilities.
I hope this was a good week for you. Here’s to the upcoming week - we’re putting finishing touches on preps for the upcoming 2025-2026 homeschool year - our first born’s senior year!!!
Well, the kiddos are getting 4H project on display at the fairgrounds today. I’m watching people ride horses, and wash horses and pigs. I remember not liking pigs when I was a boy, and nothing has changed in the past 40 years.
Say what you will about them, but the only things I think they’re good for is bacon, sausage, etc. Their sound is atrocious.
Well, I’m going to go walking around to see what is here. Have a great night, everybody!
Good morning, NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well. Today’s weather in northern Ohio is 85 with fair skies. Our expected high temp is 88.
Well, the morning has been a class on the gray/black-water side of plumbing.
After being a homeowner for 11 years, my class is septic tank maintenance is in session.
I have often said (in context of the workplace) there is a difference between stupidity and ignorance. One can be cured if the student is willing. Well, I am reluctantly willing.
To this point (11 years) I didn’t know that one needs to do routine maintenance of septic systems, and what they require. I should have known, but never gave it a thought. That is changing! Since we have shower, etc, water backing up in our basement, I am learning abou care for septic systems (tanks). In the next couple of weeks we will be having some work done on ours. Pumping, installing a couple minor parts I can’t remember at the moment, and a guy with a backhoe making a hole(s) in my front yard (every little boy’s dream!).
So, with that, have a great day, friends! Do your work well, and keep walking toward your feeedom!
I just found some old Bitcoin Core wallet files on an old drive…I’m scanning them now. I hope I am pleasantly surprised! I don’t remember secreting away any coins…but I will know once I have finished scanning these files!!! What would my neighbors think if I traded the family vehicle for a Lamborghini?!?😎WHAT WOULD MY WIFE SAY?😳
Good night, Friends! I hope you had a great Monday. I’m sitting in my favorite chair listening to a couple of gold dealers (from Miles-Franklin) discussing the economy and what they believe is coming economically. It is interesting, but, strangely, it bothers me less than it did a few years ago. I don’t know why…could it be because I learned to stack corn? Maybe.
I hope you sleep well, and wake up in the morning ready to do good, honest work!
Keep stacking sats!
That giddy feeling you get when you discover a “wallet.dat” file on your old flash drive. …from 2017. I hope I was smart enough to fill it!
Good morning, NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well. Today is going to be hot in northern Ohio. The Weather Channel says it is 78 and fair, and our expected high temperature is 92.
I’m planning to find a shade tree to sit under this afternoon. I tend to wilt when it gets hot outside.
I hope you have a wonderful Thursday! Keep stacking Sats, and building your empire! 😉
