Reaction of a non-believer to a Quran recitation: She probably doesn't know the meaning of the words of surah al-kāfirūn but she seems to understand still. It reminds me of how I felt when listening to Quran recitations before my conversion.

Allah is the best provider. When I sent zakat in Bitcoin not long ago, I was a bit stressed out because, over the years, I had become attached to it. I still hit send and I trusted Allah with it. It took two days to recover with a big surplus. Then, we hit an all time high. A few moments ago, I saw Bitcoin crash mostly vertically. Instead of getting angry, I said: "Bismillah". Then, I made my salah. Bitcoin crashed to 103K and bounced back above the time when I had said "Bismillah". I didn't notice because I was praying. Surah al-Jumu'ah: 62:11

Anyone knows of places to donate Bitcoin as zakat?

The imam gave me a Quran in Arabic. I was tired of the "translations" which are only interpretations. Also, the brothers at the mosque are starting to wonder why this white dude (me) speaks Lebanese. That's a story for another day.
