In the world of #Bitcoin, the cornerstone of your privacy lies in labels and coin control. While techniques like CoinJoins and Layer 2 (L2) can enhance your privacy, without a comprehensive understanding of your Unspent Transaction Outputs (UTXOs), you may not have a complete picture of your Bitcoin holdings and financial activities.

Repro build of the COLDCARD firmware v5.1.3 👍 Screen recording: This process checks the compiled binary against the binary published by Coinkite. If you see the "SUCCESS." message, the binaries are identical, except of 64 bytes (Coinkite's signature). These bytes are removed using "TRIM_SIG = sed -e 's/^00003f[89abcdef]0 .*/(firmware signature here)/' " in the Makefile. If you wonder why these checksums of the compiled files are different, compare to the binary you have downloaded from https://coldcard.com/downloads/, it's exactly due to those 64 trimmed signature bytes. Just in case you want to send me some sats: lnurl1dp68gurn8ghj7ampd3kx2ar0veekzar0wd5xjtnrdakj7tnhv4kxctttdehhwm30d3h82unvwqhhxmrfva58gumrwfjk2m34xgfgqgqd 🧡
Just a reminder: Drink water (or other hydrating beverages) with your meat to stay well-hydrated. 🥩
⚠️ EXIF Data's Impact on Privacy EXIF data, short for Exchangeable Image File Format data, is metadata embedded in photo files. It holds details like camera info, settings, capture time, and more. However, EXIF data could risk user privacy. For instance, sharing a photo on a platform with location data in EXIF might reveal the precise photo location. Personal info, like camera owner or editing software, can also be part of EXIF.
Not sure about KYC on Twitter using IDs. Twitter verification will only be achievable by using credit cards under the account holder's name, excluding the use of prepaid cards. This mirrors the practice that Google Play has adopted for a considerable duration. That's how the KYC everybody.
It's recommended to have at least 128 bits of entropy for a secure #Bitcoin private key. That's why the next Brainbow version will show a "Low Entropy" warning in case the provided salt and passphrase combination provides less than 128 bits. image
