More proof of work. Another milestone reached!

This is what a collapsing Canadian Dollar looks like:

I know the adage "stay humble, stack sats" which then got the addition "stay solvent" but the one I teach my kid is adding "stay silent". As number goes up, wrenches get cheaper.
Dear Canadian Government. You're garbage. Rank stinking fucking garbage. So I'm doing my taxes to estimate how much I'll owe you for all your wonderful (sic) services. You know, like border protection, healthcare in hallways, mass immigration, destruction of culture (see passports redesign), abuse of powers on protestors unless they actually scare you because some have been found to be ACTUAL terrorists, and our oh so we'll funded and supported military? I've done well for myself, well enough anyways... But you just want MORE.
The pension (Canada Pension Plan) which may or may not exist when it comes time for me to collect, is making up a good 1/3 of my taxes. "But you'll get it back!" you say. Maybe. But not enough. Not nearly as much as I would have if I saved it in my TFSA (between funds yielding 14%/year and bitcoin ETFs) or just bought Bitcoin. No, you dumb fucks think I should be happy with a 20% return over the next 15 years. That's 1.3% annual return. That's NEGATIVE returns adjusted for your "budget will balance itself" inflation. And the money that comes for as long as I live in stolen from those working and contributing at the time. It's a fucking ponzi and you've been using it to say "Canada is in great financial shape". Go fuck yourselves.
Happy $100k! My life's goal is to escape this shit.
Holy crap! I missed it while driving in the Hammer. Anyways here we go!

Current mood:

Ignoring the insufferable fools is far more powerful and quite sufficient as opposed to screaming back anything that may be used as a weapon against you. This is not a submission to silence. Actions speak louder than words.

Nostr has no "face". There are popular users, but no "the face of". Maybe because no algo, or CEO, or board. X has Elon. YouTube has Mr Beast or whoever now. Facebook has... I have no idea anymore but it used to be your drunk uncle. The NBA still has LeBron. MLB has Judge and Ohtani. Soccer has Mbappe. Hell, it seems OF has Sophie Rain (you can't tell me a board didn't manipulate an algo to boost that).
But Nostr has no face... But the face YOU choose to give it. You and you alone. Imagine that.
Heard this on
@BTC Sessions "Why are we bullish" last Friday. (Listened so not sure who said it)
"Come to get rich. Stay to get even."
This is what the race/game is about. It's offensive and defensive.
Jaguar's EV concept leak looks like something designed by Will I Am. I'll reserve judgement but the leaks are... Bad. I see some Jaguar traditional themes (rear 3/4 haunches) but the front is like an extruded plastic knockoff of a Rolls Royce while the rear looks like a service vent for a commercial HVAC unit. The inside looks divided unnecessarily and isolates the driver from the passenger taking away any intimacy of experiencing a luxury GT together. The pink? That's just meant to get the Internet buzzing but it will be backlash more than anything.
GM!

Every once in a while I check in on Reddit for shits and giggles (and groups I'm actually interested in, usually tech or car related). The amount of meme coin shitfuckery rektness is hilarious! I've learned about so many dark, weird, amazing things people are doing to rugpull others, especially using Solana and algobots trading in hyper seconds (or whatever). It's wild! Like people thinking they've made millions but can't liquidate. Absolutely hysterical!
Popular Canadian generally political YouTube channel, True North, went down to El Zonte. I don't think they've ever even mentioned Bitcoin on any of their shows or videos before, except for Trudeau mocking Bitcoin. Interesting to see Harrison Faulkner used Muun wallet.
Why do signatures matter? How are they accurate and reliable these days for identification? How has your signature changed over the years? Gen X is the last to have learned cursive but many, myself included, took influence from graffiti wild style tagging for our signatures. Brands such as Stussy certainly popularized it. Is it legible? Debatable. Is it consistent? Somewhat. Certainly elements are and I'm sure a handwriting analyst would be able to confirm the veracity. But in today's modern world, how long does a signature have before it is fully made irrelevant?
Ok, I'll weigh in on the Jaguar controversy. I've known they were reinventing themselves for some time. Heck, they are taking some year sabbatical from even producing any cars, as they relaunch as full true luxury EV manufacturer. In essence, the Jaguar you knew is dead. It has been dying for years. The love you have for them comes from the legendary E Type. You may have loved the XJS. Maybe the old legendary XJ. Their reliability was crap but their styling was undeniable.
Then Ford bought them and they made fancy Tauruses.
Then Tata bought them and they brought out the F Type which looked gorgeous and was an "Aston Martin 1 year later". And they made good cars but no one bought them. And they swung to FPace EV and they had problems. And Jaguar was dying.
Now it is dead.
But the name lives on with a new shite font signifying that, while it sounds the same phonetically, it is a whole new brand. And the launch video to go with it? Utter garbage that proves they learned nothing from when Infiniti launched in the same manner back in 1991. Infiniti used landscapes and tones to create a vibe. Consumers were confused and ultimately crowned Lexus the one true king of the new luxury brands (Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, and the never really launched Mazda one whose name escapes me now).
In the world of EVs where luxury touches and vibes may be the only thing to differentiate yourself from what will essentially be identical driving experiences... This was their Hail Mary. As a consumer, prepare for the total commodification of EV cars and that vibes is ALL you'll be aligning yourself with. The Chinese are coming. Have you seen the EVs they pump out? And some of their innovations? The West is so far behind.
Now this is interesting... So Jason Lowery retweets another user's post that notes that Jason Lowery deleted all his tweets regarding advising Trump. Hmmmmm....
