Women will never know the simple joy men get peeing into a urinal filled with ice cubes. Yes, we try to melt and collapse them.

GM GA and GN (to some of you) and Goodbye 2024! Hello 2025! Monkeys turning pages celebrate this day over others when everyday is a new year. But not everyday has such a large espresso. I shall drink it and play with my dog while cleaning the filth of the past year away.
#coffeechain
#coffeechainThat some random could just casually walk (in ski boots and out of breath) up to the hated PM Trudeau (who had been surrounded by security the whole time) at a ski hill parking lot and tells him to fick off while shaking his hand tells me one of two things: 1) Canada is a remarkably safe place (even though this is the most hated man in Canada), or 2) this was a psy-op designed to generate sympathy for "a man on vacation, in front of his kids the horror, oh those awful conservatives!"
I'm going with 2.
And if I had the chance I'd do better with the opportunity... I'd ask him "what is government?" For his answer would reveal much more about who he is. But I'd never get that chance for I am not a prepared psy-op video.
I don't read reviews of art (film, stage, written, music, visual) until long after I have taken in, or failed to take in, the piece first and foremost. I will take advice on what I should consume next but beyond a suggestion, that is any delving into meaning or value, I will ignore. I just don't like spoilers be it the lazy plot kind or the shaping my appreciation kind.
Jamie Foxx's "What Happened was..." Is an incredible "comedy" special. I put comedy in quotes because it's, frankly, light on jokes. What it is is an incredibly rare deeply personal, shockingly vulnerable public display of a strong and successful man coming to terms with his mortality and need for all those around him. It really is a one man play and makes me appreciate Jamie Foxx all the more. Also, his Dave Chappelle impression is spot on.
Christmas haul (my kids say everyone does it)...

Merry Christmas to all! While everyone plays with their gifts (or tries to figure them out/set them up) I'm just sitting here with my collection of gifted books and cooking tools because I'm old and that's all I want... More knowledge and tools.
I'm all for Canada joining the United States. Hear me out:
Canada gets:
- A stronger military and security.
- can keep single payer healthcare BUT also gets public option.
- can keep culture (you think individual states don't have a culture? Lolz)
- eliminates tax burdens across the state (where now interprovincial trade barriers exist).
- increased flow of capital, both financial and human.
- a strong constitution that protects first and second amendments!
- cheaper goods.
- a stronger dollar.
- the CPP becomes a state pension and isn't affected.
- elimination of bureaucratic redundancies.
The US gets:
- so many resources that the debt might even be paid down (for both nations).
- a stronger continent security-wise.
- so many, many, many resources that are not tapped and bureaucratically blocked.
- energy abundance from oil, gas, uranium.
- a secured and strengthened arctic.
- the elimination of morons running this damn show.
- maple syrup.
So for Canada it's a massive upgrade socially, constitutionally, and financially. For the US it's financial and security.
Let's do it!
Please please please, let THIS finally be the day!
I've been under the weather for the past 5 days. Lost my appetite but for soup. Today I went out to get some Campbell's chicken Noodle (a standard for any north American sick kid) and was go smacked! $3.49/small can? What?! Ain't these things like $1-1.25? They had lots available. What they were selling out of was just chicken broth ($2 for 900ml about 3x the broth size). I bought that, too. I can add my own noodles, veggies, and seasonings.
Maybe I'm just wrong. I don't usually buy prepped foods. However, we're out of our homemade brother at the moment.
I will never forgive Trudeau for taking away plastic straws. Imma gonna smuggle them in from our freedom brothers to the South.
Thank you @D-Central Technologies! The Bitaxe arrived today, upgraded to UPS at no extra cost to me, with a couple of cute gifts inside. It's running and hashing beautifully. This is the @Canadian Bitcoiners Podcast edition. Don't know which is better, the lifetime lottery ticket aspect or participating in decentralized hashforce.

There really is almost no reason to go to any business school. This video on the success of Arizona Ice Tea is hilarious and awesome.
Some things are better left unsaid, unposted, unshared. Today was trying day and I and my wife were subjected to witnessing something I hope none of you ever have to go through. This is my vent. The specifics will not be shared for I dont wish to impose the thoughts into your own life. Nor are the details all that important to you for we all have experiences that at some point in time have shaken us. Just wanted to release some of the tension within me that has lasted all day. I have been shock, anger, and acceptance. This isn't grief related but the symptoms of trauma are the same. God bless those who make it their jobs to deal with multiple times a day.
Just saw a billboard (in Detroit, naturally) for a new slot machine with a Whitney Houston theme. Seriously? Her estate or whoever owns her likeness and IP has licensed it out to a machine focused on addiction and the destruction of lives and families; the likeness of a generational talent whom ultimately lost custody of her daughter and later succumbed to her own addictions. These people have no shame.
More proof of work. Another milestone reached!
