Took the son to a decent pub to watch Brazil shit the bed and Morocco far exceed expectations. The crowd was unimpressed but me and the boy had a great time. He's just old enough to enjoy it all and the window of us doing such things together is short before he's off to post high-school life.

You know, it's kinda funny that all these "all of a sudden" events came at us over decades of development. SpaceX, a space exploration company that launches and lands rockets, provides satellite Internet that can't be stopped and tea he's almost anywhere (not the first but by far the best and most affordable), and rescues stranded astronauts that the govt and competitors fail, launches the biggest IPO. Musk, himself, will become the world's first documented nominal trillionaire. Braintree robots danced on a circus called America's Got Talent The mesh networks combine with decentralized network protocols, possibly over decentralized VPNs, to send decentralized money, even if you don't have that satellite Internet and your govt is trying to invade everything you do (Canada). This isn't sci-fi anymore. It's Sci-fact. And it's going to take a long time to adopt mental states to.

I cleaned out the gutters today. Not a metaphor. I literally cleaned out the gutters. They hadn't been cleared of the roofing gravel, leaf (yes, just one), and muck in 12 years and the heavy rain burst yesterday demonstrated that they were clogged. All that came down was spilling out and getting on anyone walking around under the shelter I was providing. So, today, I addressed that issue, got my hands dirty, and cleaned out the gutters. Why does this read like "Zen and the Art of Home Maintenance"?

In ALL my years of investing (started buying stocks at 14 so that's 36 years) I have never bought an IPO. Yes, I had access to my broker at 14. Yes, I had a small portfolio. It was seeded by my grandfather when I was born and was almost all PEP Boys. I sold some along the way and gambled on others. Made bank on Lucent Tech and QQQ in the 90s. I worked for a Canadian Big5 brokerage first job out of University and that was in the dotcom bubble where it really was "wolf of wall Street" vibes. We gambled on everything including making shots of crumpled telex into a garbage bin. And I've never bought an IPO. I won't be starting, either. The frenzy always reminded me of (as a kid) getting a rookie card, or some Issue 1 of a comic, or a (and this is dating me) a Day 1 postage stamp (for the philatelists out there). There is no limit to the dilution that can follow. Ken Griffey Jr's 89 Upper Deck Card had a million printed up (I just liked the cards). McFarlane Spiderman had millions (though not each cover did have the same number). And the current rage of SPCX is for only 4% of the company. Nah. I gave all that insanity up long ago.  ₿ only. At least 99.999% of us didn't fall for the "rare sats" BS.

I'm in middle of nowhere Eastport Ohio on the 250 East... I wish I could have grabbed a pic of the digital billboard it said "Enough. Opt out of the system. BTC." Then have the current Bitcoin price. It was not advertising a service nor exchange. Just freedom. Again, in the relative middle of nowhere. Based billboard owner?

Canada in 2030. Russia had to walk so Canada could run. I particularly like the comments regarding strict countries making smarter kids.

People on X, long time btc "investors" (at least that's how they speak... (Guys like Mark Cuban exemplify them) are all frustrated that btc is pumping. These are same people not saying a peep about the stock market acting like an insane casino, milking runs from an insider trading and tweeting Trump. What's worse is that my X feed is full of Pokemon pack rippers (I've never had a pokemon anything in my life, not a card, not a game, not an app, not an interest. The casino mood is so very tragically the desperation of a broken society. I'll just be over here in my corner continuing to stack.

People BIG mad at Jonny Ive and Ferrari when they should be BIGGER MAD at the bullshit regulations their unelected EU govt put on them. Do I like the new Luce (Nissan Leaf Pro Max)? No. But I'm also not a Ferrari customer dropping over $600k. Like, in what world is the 10% of sales (per regulation) going to make any difference? This is communism making the hated billionaire class bow down to their authoritarian desires. Let the market speak for itself. If Tesla thought there was a market for a pimped out Plaid++ they'd have already invested in building one and overcharged 3x what it would have been worth (for clout, of course). BTW Ferrari are also dicks about people customizing their cars with wild graphics so fuck Ferrari. They haven't turned out anything good in 9 years.

Why yes! Yes I did just have some pizza. And I traded fiat for it through a card that gives me sats back and rounds up to trade more fiat for BTC. No they didn't take BTC at the upstate NY truckstop. No it wasn't great pizza. BUT in the end I had pizza AND increased my stack so that's still a win in my book.

Everyday is pizza day for me. Sort of. Every hour on the hour I trade $1 of fiat for BTC. Of, you thought your DCA was cool but have you tried HCA? I pull it from the exchange when it hits a reasonable amount. So, everyday is $24. That's about 1 good pizza or two regrettable ones. So everyday is pizza day in my mind. Yes, that's every hour on the hour of my life.

I really miss the analog world. A world we lived peacefully in with our doors unlocked and a few nutters running around. Then it all changed and we all got imprisoned. - Snowden revealed how the NSA and UK GCHQ under PRISM taps all net traffic in 2013. Weirdly he went to Russia which also uses such tech. - Palantir is showing how to process that data but to truly be effective it needs massive data centres which are under way. - Canada is trying to get Bill C22 which would allow all devices to be turned into monitors for the state. - The Ontario Police have now been revealed to have such tech so C22 just legitimizes what they were already doing. - Israel developed the tech. We were so peaceful. So who pulled the strings to end the peace? It wasn't just 9/11. It was a concerted effort to stir up the minions by introducing elements of disharmony requiring greater restrictions. Break the families. Import non-compatible cultures. Break the money that they print. Spike crime. Those at the top (not the top we see... The real top) are beneficiaries. They enslaved us willingly while we watched the circus and scrounged for bread. The cage we lie in is so well built that we don't even see how strong it is. And they know that even in the matrix most would rather stay just comfortable enough with sense of security THEY provide in exchange for your alms. And even we who choose to opt out will be faced with such a daunting task they know most will just give up or run out of time.

@walker I read your post on nut milk and affects on bees. Ready for another? DEF (Diesel Emissions Fluid, ie that expensive shit every new diesel truck be it a pickup or tractor trailer has required since 2009) turns the emissions from those trucks into a noxious gas that blinds their senses. Any tractor trailer hauling bees has to be pre-2009 emissions regulations. So we combine that with your post on almond "milk" and we get setup for collapse. Also, why the fuq you posting just on X? I use it for DOT traffic alerts and then check my followings who haven't transitioned, yet. Yes, I am Nostr shaming you. NOSTR (with an ŏ not an ō)

I'm totally looking forward to the Sat: Hamilton parity... In 12 years... 😂 Thanks Fidelity! And let me make my own prediction: Bitcoin could hit 10B , or Sat:Ben parity by 2050. But to do so will require the "Council of Bens" approval Right, @BTC Sessions (you're still the chair of that committee?)

The first gift I ever gave my wife of 21 years (when we were early dating and we've been together for 26 years now) was a pair of sneakers so we could be active together hiking around and roaming the streets. The second was a mini disc player and some "mix tapes". It's never been about money. It's never been about flash. Its always about the memories you make and if your partner doesn't get that it ain't gonna last or be strong enough to 23qther the tough times.

11 year old commercial truck. 1.37M Miles Level 1 inspection by the DOT as part of their seasonal blitz. They crawl ask over the truck. They crawl under the truck. They test everything. They check logs. It's the to inspection and one that strikes fear into drivers. A failure in any point can put them out of service, parked on site until a costly roadside register is made. The results are public. The customers know. Insurance knows. I passed with flying colors.
