[ENG/GER] NOT a bitcoiner/stacker/maxi. I am here to have a damn good time!
Rabbithole conniseur; I enjoy random stuff. :D
Ex-Furry, (close to) blind, hobby developer/sysadmin, waifu enjoyer, long hair fetish (#hairjob).
I sometimes talk about NSFW stuff; because fucking is fun =)
(DMs always open.)
Okay, cool.
- keys.band does not work with NIP-44.
- Most DM apps depend on NIP-44 (which is fair, but not supported by my extension)
I can not receive DMs on Nostr. neat.
#fuck
longest fkn package name ever oh my god. Well, not the package itself, but look at the gitnostr link xD
Phew, glad fiatjaf set up a domain for that. xD
Seems really interesting, one of my projects with Nostr is in Go - this might come in handy.
I am sooooo
eventstore package - fiatjaf.com/nostr/eventstore - Go Packages
ehehehe I spy with my little eye...
...wait, I only DO have one eye - and it is rather little due to FoV. Fuck, that little cutsy-saying is more true than I thought :0
Undocumented Nostr Event Kinds Tracker
...bold, the wrong way. xD
The last thing you want is for your frontend to explode due to unmatched types. Nostr itself is very typesafe due to a simple and explicit object structure.
But you can't exactly say that for many most other things.
I may hate JavaScript and I really dont like webdev, but TypeScript has a reason for existing... its the spool that keeps the duckt tape in place that JS needs.
Boomer? Yes, I agree. But unfortunately, neccessary.

Aww, the profile manager does not handle Ditto's ".fields". Sadge.

I'll try this one out because that logo is sooooo goofy and I love it :D
The logo itself:
I am a sucker for funny, goofy, cute things!

keys.band does not let me copy my public key from the extension?
Okay... that one /bothers/ me. x.x
emojispam in release notes do not bode well...
Emdash and emojispam immediately make me "alert". Hate how this feels and how this is unfortunately all too common. App does look nice, to be fair, but I havent installed it. Wish there was a portable version for Windows...

Oh, 0xchat is an app only?
Well, nope. Too blind to type on my phone as it is.
...onward. x.x
UGH EWWWW
0xchat.com 's frontpage is pure emojispam. what the hell?!
Did you vibe that frontpage and /not/ proof-read? Bah this looks atrocious. Sorry, not sorry.
Will try it anyway, but that frontpage? Hell no. :/
Because Nostree is currently unavailable, I thought I'd just go and add my SimpleX address to my profile.
Installed that a while back to try it out, might even host my own relay for that. I find it mostly interesting because it is written in Haskell - not exactly a very common language these days.
The main reason I looked into it is because I was learning about how double-ratchet worked (hence my Rust rant a while back). Unfortunately, I can use neither Signal's (libsignal) nor SimpleX's algorythmn easily within my project. Buuuut decided to keep the SimpleX installation regardless. Its nice, works, and the UI is DOPE.
Good, very early, morning! ^.^
