It was entirely romantic to envision themselves as crusaders for human rights and ending the 'war machine' but this is what was used to incubate the first version of anti-Americanism and the narrative of the oppressive western 'patriarchy.' Kids didn't come up with that shit themselves. It also allowed the US Gov to smear an otherwise legit anti-war movement that was gaining a lot of momentum at the time. No doubt they probably ALSO learned quite a lot about propaganda effectiveness. Public played, and played WELL.

Sure is cute and even predictable how children have such respect and reverence for law enforcement when it's being enforced in their favor, but as soon as THEY aren't allowed to do something, time to scream "FACISTS!!"
Was he out grabbing groceries, or just havin a walk in the park? Nope - obstructing law enforcement. Retard's lucky he didn't get shot - and he might still since there's a good chance he'll just go out there and earn another one.

When the CIA goes into some poor African country to exploit its resources, they don't want to negotiate over a fair price, so the first thing they do is destabilize the nation and deligitimize the authorities. This creates ANARCHY, which creates a power vacuum they're happy to fill.
Anyone who thinks human beings would naturally settle into some peaceful utpoian garden does NOT understand what humans are.
If this were to actually happen, I recommend you fortify and start building your militia immediately. Unless you wanna just hand over all your shit and die.
