I've been told that activity in Nostr has really dropped after the hype. That's why I came here :).
I used Fediverse (Mastodon) for a couple years (Fosstodon.org instance), but when the war in Ukraine started, I wrote 1 post about Zelenskyy, that he's a fucking dictator.
But it turns out that the admins (leftists from USA) didn't like it and my account was immediately deleted.
I was too lazy to start my own instance and decided to leave distributed/foss social networks for some time.
Let's see how my Nostr journey ends :).

Which Nostr client for Android and Web do you use, and why?
And the politicians are still enjoying making money from the war in Ukraine.
The city of Sumy.
Today I tried 4 times to pay for ice cream using a phenomenal crutch called Lightning Network.
And I always got the error you see in the screenshot.
Even though the merchant was using Wallet of Satoshi (essentially an Excel version of Bitcoin), that is, even with this level of centralization it was not possible to take advantage of this wonderful technology.
Explained to him that with Monero he would have no problems with on-chain payment, that the fees on the network are $0.02 dollars + privacy by default.
He said he would create an XMR wallet.

😅

The people I used to follow. just disappeared. Is this some kind of super cool Nostr feature, or just a bug?

yakihonne.com is kinda good...
Beautiful UI, not too cluttered, and at the same time not completely “helpless” (like the whole iOS).

Nostr client for web.
So far, the situation with Nostr clients reminds me of:
1. the number of Linux distros, package managers, package formats, and other "reinventions of the bicycle";
2. the situation with the dead and useless Matrix protocol and its clients;
I like that there are tools like Nos2x (https://github.com/fiatjaf/nos2x) and that I can test different web clients without having to risk my private. And also Amber (https://github.com/greenart7c3/Amber).
