The proof copy finally arrived 🙏🏼 While opening the package the first thing that flashed through my mind was the scene from Back to the Future of George McFly opening a box of his books telling Marty: "If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything." That line originally came from Doc, passed on to Jennifer and Marty, and then Marty to his dad in1955, then his "higher timeline" dad said it back to him in 1985. Years ago, it got passed to me—a kid watching that movie. The idea really resonated with me, that if we can hold it in our mind we can hold it in our hand. And now, to hold the physical manifestation of this co-creation in my hands… it's surreal. I hope this book goes on to inspire a reader, like those who inspired me. I’m very excited to finally share it with you in June 🙌🏼✨

Being harshly reminded about why we Bitcoin today... - Paying the Canadian exit tax on Bitcoin that I never converted to fiat - Needing to convert said Bitcoin to fiat to pay said exit tax - Getting charged 11€ customs tax on a 20€ book (my first copy) - Not being able to pay customs because I don’t have a local bank account with the only payment method accepted by customs - Trying to set up local bank account to pay the customs tax while dealing with the joys of fiat bureaucracy 🙏🏼 On the bright side, thank GOODNESS for Bitcoin. The free market is already winning, we can see it here on Nostr. I’m very excited about where the future is taking us ⚡️ For now, a lot of patience, and focus on the world we are building...

Thinking of those who don’t get to choose when they rest—waiting on a government-approved day off just to catch their breath. That’s not freedom, that’s control. I usually work on bank holidays because what I do doesn’t feel like work; I also get the co-work all to myself 🤭 Rest is a right, not a reward. Imagine 8 billion people in a free market where prices fall and we can all live from our passions rather than trade our energy for an illusion of freedom—that would change everything. Bitcoin fixes this! I’m excited for what’s coming 🙌🏼⚡️✨

Really grateful I got out of Canada when I did right now... So unfortunate.

Power was out all day yesterday in Portugal. With no internet and no way to work, people came outside—chatting, checking in. The energy was lively, but also calm and connected. How interdependent we truly all are really stood out to me. At night, the stars were unreal 🙌🏼 No light pollution, no hum of machines—just stillness and spacious silence. It was beautiful—very grounding. Also, it was kind of hilarious watching people stumble around their homes with flashlights 😅 When the power came back on, different parts of town were cheering. Defiantly very grateful I wasn’t stuck in a train or an elevator 🙏🏼 I know it wasn’t easy for everyone; I'm grateful to have had a beautiful day.

I really appreciate how we can have differing opinions in the Bitcoin community and still keep things logical and respectful - looking for common ground instead of focusing on our differences. We know that no matter what, we align on values, and #Bitcoin is winning. So different from the fiat's divide and conquer mentality.

This presentation is partially a summary of the book I am writing about the crossroads of Bitcoin and spirituality - I presented it during a Bitcoin meetup; it was so much fun :D 🙌🏼✨
