One of the dark stories from Switzerland not much talked about... Crypto AG sold for decades compromised encryption devices to around 120 countries, allowing US intelligence to access their supposedly secure communications. Only countries like China, Russia, and North Korea avoided the trap by developing their own encryption systems.

"The most logical explanation, and the one that stays closest to the known facts, is not a wild conspiracy. It is that Washington mounted an illegal incursion into Iranian airspace and territory, wrapped a larger covert action inside a genuine rescue effort, lost control of the battlespace, destroyed some of its own aircraft on withdrawal, and then sold the public the smallest possible version of the truth. That is not speculation dressed up as analysis. It is the simplest reading of the aircraft, the geography, the units, the deception, and the wreckage."

"The Future Investment Initiative Priority Summit arrived in Miami for the first time in March 2026, which was itself a kind of statement. Saudi Arabia’s annual gathering for global capital had previously convened in Riyadh, where it belonged to the architecture of a petrostate rebranding itself to the world. Moving it to Florida, to the waterfront ballrooms of a city where Jared Kushner keeps his offices and his residence, said something about where the center of gravity had shifted. Kushner took the stage on March 26 to address the investors, among whom the Saudi government’s sovereign wealth fund is his largest and most consequential client. He told them that Iran had not been serious about peace."

"President Trump says he is looking forward to launching Power Plant Tuesday from military bases in the UK, unless Iran opens the Strait that is only closed because Trump started this war. The US president was furious that the Iranians seem in no mood for negotiation, due to the minor issue that Israel killed all of the negotiators. Excitingly, Power Plant Tuesday is likely to go ahead because Congress has forgotten how to use the 25th Amendment and Sir Keir Starmer has forgotten he was once a human rights lawyer."

"The recent “calm” in the gold market has left many observers, and especially the precious metal’s critics, questioning whether the “safe-haven” thesis still stands or whether its time has passed. In the shadow of the ongoing Middle East conflict and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the yellow metal failed to deliver the immediate, parabolic spike that many assumed should accompany a global energy crisis. Instead, we witnessed the opposite, with a correction from the January highs. To the uninitiated, this looks like a failure of gold’s primary purpose. However, a deeper look reveals that this is not a rejection of gold’s fundamentals, but rather a textbook manifestation of the calm before the storm."

"This article follows that kill program from a bombed party office in Aden, through a Belgrade weapons arrest and a murdered lawyer, all the way to a world where Western pundits can credibly fear being targeted by deniable squads trained by allies. If you want to understand how state power, private military contractors, and “counterterrorism” rhetoric have fused into a market for political murder, this is a story for you."
