Even if you never open the app on a phone you just bought.
The apps that come preloaded in most phones are collecting your information from the second you turn your phone on.
YouTube (and others) collects bio-data to trigger ads when you set your phone down or your heartbeat info changes. The algorithm is more than just likes and follows. It is counting and measuring biometric and social data points to determine your "influence value" to use individuals for advertising.
Elon does this at X. He is suing openai and google for doing the same thing to him. Elon does this stuff to people and then throws a temper tantrum and litigates for doing to him what he does to everyone else.
