Maybe this is a controversial take but I think the conversation around bitcoin should be super simple.
It works, and it is a scarce asset that you can access anywhere in the world that cannot be debased.
The infinite discourse that follows this doesn’t make any sense to me.
You can argue nuance till the cows come home but the fact of the matter is it couldn’t be any simpler. Regular people don’t have time and don’t want to research for hours on end about money. No one had to research the properties of gold to know it was valuable.
All you have to know with bitcoin is the supply cannot be increased.
Why drown the world in noise?
It’s not speculating or investing. It’s exactly what money should be.
Work purposefully but not obsessively
Rest without guilt
Give freely
Accept outcomes
The ego craves drama and struggle because they reinforce its existence.
What’s necessary? Food, shelter, meaningful work, deep relationships, children, some sense of purpose larger than yourself, physical tiredness that produces real sleep.
The Amish achieve this with 18th century technology, most struggle to achieve it with smartphones and ChatGPT
Don’t try to entertain your way through life. Make real things.
Creation and consumption can be balanced but creation will bring more fulfillment.
For most of human history we didn’t need money. We do now based on how we’ve grown society and civilization. The best money is bitcoin. These are simply facts.
On the other side of the coin, when you put time and energy into your local economy you create less and less dependence on the need for money because barter and trust increase and facilitate trade.
Focus on your craft. Invest locally. Save surplus in the best money available.

Our environment directly shapes how we feel and our ability to exercise the agency needed to be free.
Don’t forget you are capable of incredible beauty. Your intuition is much more accurate then you think and the more work you do to cultivate it and react only trains it further.
