Still messing with relays. Paid for nostr.land and I think its working well 🤙. Finding I’m missing certain events on Nostur that I find on Primal (reacts, follows, posts, and zaps). Updated relay format will hopefully fix this.

What are the best practices for relays? I’m wondering if I should be using a paid relay for posting for reliability or what should be done to make sure you have the proper reach? Using nostur if that matters. #asknostr

I've been reading up on #silentpayments wishing I could set up my own self hosted node/server to scan for these in the background instead of using a public node. Maybe there are tweaks I could make. It is pretty damn cool tech, and I’m excited to see where it goes. Bravo to #cakewallet for the implementation. Looking forward to using the silentpayments and pay join.

I absolutely can not stand twitter/X or most social media. I’m going to give this Nostr thing a chance. Mainly to try and cultivate something valuable and enjoyable.

Setting up Alby self host was super easy. Not sure if I’ll stick with it since the customizable lightning addresses require a subscription.
