one can hold what ever opinion they want on verification on centralized services in general… but the idea that a gold badge would be for those who are advertising at a certain threshold is sound. it’s much better than what Facebook is doing by just giving bonus, unmarked, reach on threads… which in the current system, should be punished with fines from the ftc.

I’ve used it many times for many things but what or where is a balena

have an old 2012 MacBook Air, I repasted it, it still needed this regardless, it was chalk dust… but was still running hot, I downgraded a couple of os versions and it’s now running 10-20* at idle 30* cooler. is there a Linux distro or specific Linux tool that would allow me to control the clock speed, cause it seems like apple is ramping the clock speed up in the more recent os.
