Rustin pulls up the receipts on Elizabeth Warren's anti-crypto army.
She declared it in February 2023, when Bitcoin was $24,000.
Bitcoin is $78,000 now. Up 3x since she declared war.
Her bill died. Her army never showed up. ๐

JAMES LAVISH: "The US Treasury can't refinance $15T of debt at 5%. That would be catastrophic. So, what would they do? They would go out there and buy them instead. That's yield curve control. That's the expansion of the money supply."
Dante breaks down why this is the trigger for the next Bitcoin cycle. ๐
Hurley pulls the quote everyone's repeating this week.
Raoul Pal on the Treasury doubling its bond buybacks: "The extra dollars are small. The signal is enormous."
He's calling it the Bessent Put. The Fed didn't blink first this time. The Treasury did. ๐๐
Steve Keen called 2008 years out. Now he says the private debt unwind ahead is bigger: a depression, 1929 or worse.
Rustin ties it to what's happening right now: the yen carry trade unwinding, the Treasury buying back its own bonds, Bessent quietly talking about marking gold to market.
Samson Mow's answer to where it ends: rebase the dollar to one satoshi. ๐
No one can stop what is coming.

Dante digs up the clip of Paul Tudor Jones laying out the loan the US government asks every bondholder to sign.
"You've lent me $700,000. I want to borrow $40,000 more every year for the next 30 years. Then I'll pay the whole thing back."
"Would you lend me that money?"
"Unlikely."
That's the deal Washington needs every buyer of a 30 year bond to take.
SCOTT BESSENT: "Treasury is moving quickly to implement the GENIUS Act to cement the role of the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency."
Posted yesterday. Hurley's explains how the same act meant to save the dollar is what builds the rails for the neutral reserve asset that ends up replacing it.
Tether just passed the largest financial audit in stablecoin history. KPMG verified $6.8B more in assets than liabilities, and physically inspected every one of its 150 tons of gold.
The company sitting at the center of global stablecoins, Dante points out, isn't picking a side between Bitcoin and gold. It's holding both. ๐
MICHAEL SAYLOR: "Money is energy. Bitcoin is digital monetary energy."
Rustin points out Saylor published that essay on the exact 55th anniversary of Nixon closing the gold window. ๐
JPMorgan just increased its Bitcoin ETF position to $356 million. UBS grew its own Bitcoin ETF holdings 230% this year.
Dante's point: none of this buying is retail. It's happening while the price sits near its lows, not after it moves.
Nolan Bauerle breaks down the Yen carry trade unwind and what it could mean for Bitcoin:
"The Bank of Japan is going to have to adapt its balance sheet... They're going to have to have hard collateral on that balance sheet because the Yen won't work anymore... Their government debt won't work, and then buying American government debt won't work."
"Everything here in this story is actually pulling Japan towards Bitcoin in the long term."
MICHAEL SAYLOR: "The people that shouldn't buy Bitcoin are people that need the money back in 12 weeks."
Hurley pulled that from Saylor's answer to who shouldn't own it. The guy running the biggest Bitcoin balance sheet on Earth naming the honest exception.
There are plenty of fish in the sea, but not a lot of bitcoin.

CPI printed 3.4% yesterday. Rate hike odds dropped within minutes.
Same week, Larry Fink said Wall Street needs trillions more dollars. Trump Media quietly added another 4,600 Bitcoin.
Rustin doesn't call that a coincidence. ๐
Nvidia just lined up $500B in financing with Wall Street's biggest names. Larry Fink says building it out will take 70 gigawatts of power, at $60B a gigawatt. That's $4.2T nobody has sitting in cash.
Dante Cook walks through where that money actually has to come from, and why the answer points straight at Bitcoin.
Bitcoin just split in two.
BIP-110 nodes rejected an Antpool block, creating two chains with two sets of rules.
Only 2.5% of hash rate had signaled support.
Now the minority chain is more than 300 blocks behind and falling.
Hurley breaks down the BIP-110 controversy and what

Bitcoin split into two separate chains this week. Japan's biggest insurers are sitting on $100 billion in unrealized losses. Jamie Dimon just said America's reserve currency status could be slipping away. And Bitcoin kept producing blocks through all of it.
Dante Cook walks through why the same week Bitcoin proved it can survive a civil war, the system it's supposed to replace kept showing why people want out.
