Exercise isn't necessarily training.
Training must, by definition, at some point become unsustainable. When periodizing to squat 600lbs overreaching much occur in order to elicit an adaptation.
If a workout can be done every single day, then it is either not stimulative enough to elicit a response and adaptation or the athlete will become severely fatigued and performance will diminish.
