Salvation is by faith alone (sola fide), not Law. The Gospel, a new revelation from the Father, not a continuation of Yahweh's covenant;
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Apostolicon, cf. Rom 5:8)
Marvel at the profound grace; Christ died for the ungodly, proving the Father's love before we deserved it.

YHWH commands the Israelites to stone rebellious sons to death: “If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son… all the men of his city shall stone him to death” (Deut 21:18–21).
Christ welcomes the prodigal son home with open arms - no punishment, only celebration (Luke 15:11–32).
YHWH demands filial execution; the Father lavishes mercy on the wayward child.
For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. (Apostolicon, cf. Rom 8:2)
Embrace the liberating power of the Spirit in Christ, breaking free from every bond of sin.
"Law of sin and death" refers to the Mosaic Law, which reveals sin but cannot save — it leads to condemnation and death.
"Law of the Spirit of life" is the Gospel/Spirit revealed through Christ (the Son of the true Father) which frees believers.
YHWH’s ritualistic stinginess vs. the Father’s effortless grace.
YHWH’s prophet Elisha heals one leper—a foreigner—via elaborate ritual: seven dips in the Jordan (4 Kings 5), while Christ heals ten lepers (Jews & Gentile) with a single word (Evangelion; cf. Luke 17:12–14).
And he [Jesus] said to them, “The Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath.” (Evangelion, cf. Luke 6:5)
Jesus (the Son of the true Father) has authority over the Mosaic Law—the Law is temporary and inferior; His lordship supersedes it (cf. the nearby “new wine in new wineskins” parable, Luke 5:37–38, which emphasises the incompatibility of the old covenant with the new). There is no endorsement of OT continuity—the Sabbath law is critiqued, not fulfilled or upheld.
We must recognise Christ’s supreme authority over the Law—he is Lord, granting true rest in himself alone.
YHWH sends a flood to drown all humanity (Gen 6–9)—mass murder by water, while Jesus calms the storm and saves his disciples from drowning (Luke 8:22–25).
YHWH destroys with floods; the Father preserves life amid chaos.
YHWH leaves Isaac blind with cataracts (Gen 27:1)—no healing for his faithful. Jesus opens blind eyes: "The blind receive sight" (Evangelion; cf. Luke 7:22).
YHWH blinds and withholds; the Father enlightens and heals.
Friends, pause and ask: What kind of God do you truly worship? The Old Testament records Yahweh smiting Egypt's firstborn—including helpless infants—with a devastating plague (Ex 12:29). Yet Jesus reveals a good Father of total, unrelenting compassion who would never destroy innocent children.
Early believers once understood this vital distinction: Yahweh as the lawgiver linked to judgment and evil's shadow, separate from Abba, the God of pure love unveiled [only] at the cross.
Return to Jesus' gentle revelation of the Father (Luke 10:22). The cross shows the real heart of the God.
And while they still did not believe for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them. (Evangelion, cf. Luke 24:41–43)
Behold the risen Lord eating in their sight, proving His real bodily resurrection and victory over death.
YHWH commands Israel to utterly destroy the Amalekites—men, women, children, infants, animals—no mercy (1 Sam 15:3).
Jesus teaches: "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you" (Evangelion; cf. Luke 6:27).
YHWH demands genocide; the Father demands universal love.
Elyon (Most High) blesses Abraham for defeating King Chedorlaomer, ruler of Elam—present-day western Iran. Chedorlaomer warred with Sodom and nearby cities, which later thanked Abraham for intervening. Yet YHWH (Yahweh) later destroyed these cities, suggesting Elyon and YHWH were at odds.
This dynamic might explain Abraham's attempts to persuade Yahweh not to destroy Sodom. 🤔
YHWH (Yahweh)’s promises are frequently extraordinary and rarely fulfilled.
Lying is essential in the art of war, and he, second to none in lying, was first and foremost a warrior.
A lair, murderer and a man of war.
YHWH ≠ JESUS

YHWH commands to plunder Egypt of gold, silver, and garments (Exod 12:35–36). While Jesus sends his disciples out with nothing: no staff, no bag, no money, no extra tunic (Evangelion; cf. Luke 9:1–3).
YHWH orders robbery; the Father teaches radical trust and non-possession.
YHWH orders total destruction of enemies: “Utterly destroy them” (Deut 7:2). Christ teaches: “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you” (Evangelion; cf. Luke 6:27).
YHWH's call to annihilate vs. the Father's call to love.
Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh. (Evangelion, cf. Luke 6:20–21)
Embrace the reversal of fortunes in the Father’s kingdom: the poor, hungry, and mourning find true blessing and fulfillment in Christ.
YHWH’s hatred and destruction vs. the Father’s boundless love.
YHWH commands the Israelites to hate enemies and destroy them utterly (Deut 7:2; 23:3-6).
In the Evangelion, Christ commands love for enemies: “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you” (Evangelion; cf. Luke 6:27-28).
We need more strong minds.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. (Apostolicon, cf. Gal 5:22–23)
Let the fruit of the Spirit flourish in us, for these virtues stand above every Law.
