Many words spoken to avoid addressing the very issue that got us here. The people are totally unprepared to remedy corrupt, dishonest leadership. Practically all leadership positions are occupied by the corrupt and dishonest. The average citizen isn't even in denial about this - they knowingly participate in pretending it isn't true. Worse, it's all a predictable result of incoherent or inverted values and inconsistent accountability. If lying is acceptible, then liars will win. Tune in for the next episode of morning coffee and powerlessness over global systems

At the grocery the register wasn't working so the employee cursed the machine and apologized to me repeatedly. I no worries'd repeatedly and felt like apologizing myself, I don't know, because maybe I cause an impatient feeling or something? Reminded me of growing up when everyone fought over the check, each insisting that they should be allowed to pay. No one ever talks about these reverse toxicity scenarios. Not that I'm above a downward spiral. Anyway
