Of the 10 current #BRICS countries (2025), 3 are #democracies: #Brazil, #India, and #South #Africa. 7 are #authoritarian or #hybrid regimes: #Russia, #China, #Egypt, #Ethiopia, #Iran, #Saudi #Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (#UEA). In short: Only 3 out of 10 are full democracies. The group is therefore mostly #authoritarian or #semi-democratic.
As a #Brazilian I am #ashamed to be part of this group!

No resolution on the #IOF issue and from what I understand, Lula threatened not to sanction the bill to increase the number of #deputies, which is wonderful. The more they fight, the better for Brazil.
