I've been seeing some rumours of a gold-backed BRICS settlement system coming up. Powered by China with gold vaults around BRICS countries as an attempt to settle in gold. Some people might trust this but it's not going to be easy to force all individuals in this direction. #bitcoin #geopolitics

I was just thinking, what if Bitcoin is truly the next internet. People say this a lot of times in these circles but for a moment there I was really considering, what if Bitcoin is truly the most important mankind innovation since the internet, but most people just don't get it yet? #bitcoin

There's a global monetary reset going on. The next 5 to 10 years will probably be the most important years in modern history or maybe ever. #bitcoin #politics #history #philosophy

I'm not a person of low resolution, cheap attacks, taking easy sides at a dumb game, etc. But honestly I've come to conclude the following, I truly believe that around half of the population worldwide is being manipulated by anger, resentment while being maintained slaves (at all levels, spiritual, philosophical, economic, etc). Because the other side also uses emotion but at least they offer a clear philosophical and economic framework for the individual and collective to work/build something together. And then there's one side that's just looking to destroy. Or am I missing something? #philosophy #politics #thoughts #finance

Do you think: 1) the big beautiful bill will generate **tremendous** growth and taxes from this growth will allow the US debt to be reduced? 2) this will only inflate away the dollar and we're in pratice heading for a monetary reset? #bitcoin #economics #financial #asknostr

So MSTR is going to be one of the reasons why normies will have Bitcoin after all? Everybody around the world thinks the S&P500 as the best and most secure investment worldwide and now MSTR is going to monetize it on steroids? That's because index funds have to invest in all S&P500 companies. And that's guaranteed capital for MSTR, and then it's a virtuous cycle, more capital available to MSTR, more Bitcoin, more Bitcoin on MSTR more capital available to MSTR. #financial #bitcoin

In the next 5 to 10 years it will become perfectly apparent that many nation states will become excellent places to live. Rural depopulation, some tax advantages and that's it, you have millions of places in the world where you can build your alternative. #bitcoin #moving

I don't have a particularly strong position on the OP_RETURN, Core vs Knots thing but I'm not a fan at all of top-down anything. The free-market should be bottom-up and voluntaryist by nature. Every interaction in a real free market has to voluntary. This means options. Freedom of choice basically. I think this form of thinking (censoring choices) is a slippery slope. In other words, why not just let the nodes that want to save that info, save that info and then provide services on top of that? And others who don't, leave them alone? Are you really telling me you need to censor a 1/3 of Bitcoin for your better alternative to work? And I know Peter Todd is not advocating for this here, he's just saying "how easy it would be". What am I missing here? image #bitcoin #discussion #asknostr #opreturn

I find it incredible how people so willingly accept Government contracts. In practice everybody that accepts or is part of a government contract, especially if that government/State is not a direct democracy and the people didn't vote for that specific contract, it's in effect the most common and widespread form of legalized stealing. I will never understand how people accept this. Some benefit immensely by being close to the State, while others are oppressed and persecuted with everything. Don't you think something has to be changed?
