Twitter became an echo chamber of neo con statists.
"Europe is dead. Europe is being replaced by immigrants.
It's too LATE. It's too late. We lost Europe, etc, etc."
At one point I was like, oh wow, it's really too late. Then I continued researching, thinking, looking for stuff, looking at numbers and eventually I understood:
The numbers don't match. Immigrants are not going to replace anybody. There isn't an invasion. The whole earth is losing population. There's thousands of cheap houses and apartments in Europe, huge regions with populations in decline.
The chaos they are seeing is happening in very specific places in the world. Mostly in the cities, in certain places and not exactly like they paint the picture.
In reality most places in Europe will be undergoing quiet depopulation. Controlled decay, like Japan. And this is just reality. And in my view that's the biggest opportunity for a better Europe. Why?
1. Rural depopulation makes houses free
2. Bitcoin allows for uncensorable savings
3. G1 empowers even more people and depopulating economies
4. Nostr allows permanent and uncensorable digital identity to better create those economies
They're fighting for the nation state masters when instead they could be building a better world.
I get it, they want to stay in the place you were born, next their parents house, etc, etc. But c'mon there's also other incredibly opportunities. Why stay stuck on something that's not going to work?
I don't know, it's just annoying at times to see all these guys agreeing writing the same posts for years on end.
Even if the right wing parties win, if all the immigrants get remigrated, their lives will suck. Just look at the average American. It's not like life became 100x better when Trump was elected.
It's annoying at times. The system is broken, they need to get out of it. Blaming all their problems on immigrants is such a dumb move.

What a joke. In a couple of decades we went from having a society that could learn about anything online, was relatively into freedom of expression i.e in real life you heard everything, to a society of selfish NPCs that obey everything the computer says.

What if gold doubles to 10k or even something like 15k with the AI bubble inflows (so something like 20T to 30T USD) and then eventually it also pops because nobod has that gold also?
So either the numbers would be there or they would be so devalued that it would be like Weimar Germany.
In essence what I'm asking is what if we really are in Weimar Germany and we're really just trying to find what is money as a species and in real time?
I'm referring specifically to the wild gold rise. There's so much money and it moves so fast in the digital world.
What if we're heading for a moment where the cards have to be shown?
Because Weimar Germany happened like that, it was a matter of months.

It's pretty wild to think about what's happening currently.
I mean the connection between Bitcoin, Lightning Network, Cashu and AI, Nostr, etc, basically open a world of functionality most people have no idea how important it is.
It seems pretty niche mostly because people are looking at/for vertical (fiat) scaling and not seeing the sovereign and decentralization vertical aspect.
This is basically tech that will make individuals more free, with more opportunities to collaborate, connect, work, etc, with the ability to live and trade anywhere.
It's just that people's attention is solely focusing on the fiat pyramid and nothing else.
