So, why the hostility?
It appears as though they are not truly for equality.
They are looking to justify redistribution by claiming that equality is impossible.

Demonstrably growing demand encroaching on a fixed supply.
Unless the demand structure changes, the math is going to math.

What would that technology be worth?

On the one hand, math threatens us.
National debt.
On the other hand, math will save us.
Bitcoin.
The consensus mechanism for amending the Constitution was set to be intentionally difficult.
Ratification by 3/4 of the states. So difficult, in fact, politicians have chosen to simply ignore the restraint.
The beauty of Bitcoin is the consensus mechanism cannot be ignored.
In a fiat system,
Growth = Debt
In a Bitcoin system,
Growth = Strength
Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
We will not forget, and we will protect these freedoms with all of our hashpower.
Bitcoin is Life, Liberty, and Property.

We aren't experiencing "late stage capitalism."
Since 1913, the FED has centrally controlled the cost of capital.
This is not capitalism.
Under capitalism, the cost of capital would be determined by the free market.
