You don't stop building The Bitcoin Standard because it's a bottom market. You double down even if no one is looking... Yet. View quoted note →

The Buffalo Belt is built from thick, durable buffalo leather with virtually no stretch, providing a firm and reliable fit day after day. Its rigid construction helps it maintain a clean, elegant silhouette while offering the support expected from a serious leather belt. Customers have reported using it successfully as a gun belt thanks to its stiffness and stability. Fait sur mesure. image

I'm very proud of this but man... It's been an absolute grind. But starting from zero leatherwork skills, no funding outside of the earnings from the craft itself and doing all this within 3 years Bitcoin only is WILD. View quoted note →

My Bitcoin philosophy is always at the center of my craft. It's usually not displayed in Bitcoin symbols or deep mathematical expression of reality, but still, everything is downstream from my pursuit of a sound life. In your craft, what does it mean to reach "the Bitcoin standard"? In mine, I believe it starts with the use of sound materials. - I reject polyester thread and embrace linen - I chose leathers with minimal coating. Plastic does not mix well with leather. The frequency just isn't compatible. Plastic is great ok, but I don't want it in my wallet if I can avoid it. Especially if I paid a good price for it. Is there more than that? I love simple lines. Bitcoin is rather simple. It's elegant. It's timeless. It's legacy. This part was never really done on purpose unlike the choice of materials, but I do believe my pursuit of a sound life through Bitcoin and more guided my artistic direction. I craft my physical representation of The Bitcoin Standard.

Creating a product is not the hard part. Selling it is. It doesn't matter how good it is if no one sees it.

It's just reach. This is why I never deleted twitter even when nostriches were telling me I'd be so much cooler if I did. Selling is so hard and if you limit yourself that much you're going to make it extremely difficult to make a living out of it. View quoted note →

If I had to tell people how I imagine Bitcoin beyond the digital realm, I would build TheLeathermint.com. I did

Found this. This image is not accurate. The middle one is a saffiano pattern coating. There's actually no way to know what's behind it. Cow leather? Goat leather? Fake leather? It's hard to know because what you see and touch on the surface is just a finish plastic coating. It can be really beautiful and it makes the leather durable... But you don't touch the leather. I avoid these as much as possible. I like to be as close as I can be to my leather. I want to touch the real thing. In my opinion this is the biggest difference between a good and a bad leather. image

I have 3 books in auction and display at Prague. They aren't going for super high prices at the moment so if you've been eyeing one this might be your chance. I purposefully chose very real pictures without fancy AI backgrounds in the auction pictures. This might have been a mistake but I thought it'd be more honest to show them in real without fluff.
