Just watched a boomer watch 6 YouTube videos on Bitcoin and crypto and EVERY single one of them was some sort of conspiracy theory style, green candle red candle, Trump coin, CIA, China, terrorist, drug dealers, con style video and I thought to myself “why would anyone watch that clown show shit” and then I realized that this person was genuinely curious but as soon as he clicked on any REAL Bitcoin content it immediately went over his head so he automatically migrated to what he could understand which is right wing boogie man conspiracy theories. Encryption, watts, fractional banking, self sovereignty, denial of service, was always going right over his head. He would immediately not understand and click to the next video where he would find “buy $100 of this and lambo” or “CIA deep state currency that won’t survive a nuclear war” and “brown people drug cartels selling babies for crypt” videos and that’s where they feel like they can quickly become an expert. If it sounds like Fox News they can trust it. They will NEVER get it and they will be left behind.
