I have been doing some logging to clear room for a horse riding arena my wife wants to build next summer. I wear one of those combo hardhat, face shield, ear muff deals when I am chainsawing. I made the mistake of leaving outside last night, its 11 degrees out today, and all the sweat absorbed by the sweatband froze. When I put that puppy on, I instantly got the worst brain-freeze of my life. I almost fell over.
I recommend doing it once, so you know not to do it.
