I made a dump run today. It was pretty busy at the salvage tent, people parked everywhich way loading up on "one man's trash". I dropped off my kids' lil red wagon because they're all to old for it and the tongue is busted off and it's half rusted out.
It barely hit the ground before this old fella with no teeth latched onto it. "Them are good wheels." He had his daughter load it up with the rest of their haul, it was too heavy for him to handle. Then he told me a ten minute, rambling story about a truck he bought back in '69. I only escaped without being rude because the daughter ran some junk over while turning their truck around and he got distracted.
You gotta love small town living.

The coldcard situation sucks. My condolences to everyone who lost their savings.
It got me thinking that I ought to have a mobile, watch-only wallet with notifications turned on and I should learn to how to do a replace by fee transaction.
It is this a valid line of thinking? Notice a pending transaction, RBF it within 10 minutes?
I have 10 hours of podcasts that I would like to understand the gist of without having to listen to them. Is there an AI tool that can give me a 15 minute summary?

The sockeye are finally running on the Kenai River. My father in law, oldest son and I caught a dozen yesterday. They were big ones, too. They barely fit into one 48 qt cooler. My 12 year old son is officially better at catching and filleting salmon than me. I am really proud.
