It's June 9th. Happy 6/9 everybody, except Europeans.

Some jackhole is loosening bolts on natural gas meters at large commercial buildings in Anchorage. So far it has only caused leaks, no fires. Stay frosty out there.

Why did the chicken cross the road? To lay eggs behind my bench grinder.

Garden update: My cukes are all planted in the new elevated wicking bed, trellis setup. I have a good feeling about this. It required admitting that growing apples in the greenhouse was not working and tearing them out to make space. That was tough, but maybe some cucumbers will make it to the house before my kids eat them this year! Fingers crossed. #garden #gardenstr
