I will slowly be dumping my bitcoin for bip-110 and monero over the coming years. Once a market and price develops after this hardfork. Im sure coretards will race to dump the 110 coins as fast as possible. The only thing that would keep me around is if the bitcoin community proves it can fend off any change that core+industry+miners attempt to push through in the next few years. I honestly dont think any of them will, and if they try they will be ostracized like the bip110ers were. The way bitcoiners talk you would think bitcoin is now a democracy.
Any news on what hashing function bip-110 chain might switch to? Bip-110 chain and monero are the only useful freedom tools left here.
Trust follows low time preference. If the miners reject the node on saturday, the world will learn how this game really works.
These coretards cling to "consensus" like democracy got us anywhere...
I love how these podcast type midwits in the bitcoin community think that if their "line in the sand" ever came into question they would have "majority consensus" to do anything after kicking all the monetary maxis out. They will be in a den full of shitcoiners trying to win a democracy vote.
If the future of bitcoin is decided by a democracy like mechanism, it's fucked. I think the future is decided by trust and trust only. If oppurtunities are presented im looking forward to making bets along the way on what incites the trust of hardened users.
Wishing the bip-110 madatory flag period happened like 100 blocks before the next difficulty adjustment. In case of chainsplit, we would only have to endure 100 blocks with less hashrate before the difficulty adjustment would be decreased benefiting 110 side profitability per hash. Not two full weeks of high difficulty.
What would the price of the s&p500 be if it wasnt for massive bailouts in response to 2008 and fake virus 2019? How high would it be if the entire american economy didnt have the precedent of future bailouts when needed?
Having standards is rebellion against fiat mindslop. Modern western society isnt allowed to have standards. Broken morals, manipulation, usury, lies, fake news, broken marriages/families, littered streets, mental illness everywhere, brainrot schools, high taxes, busted roads, high prices, low quality goods and food, gender isnt real, tax the rich, victimhood olympics, pills solve everything, etc. The list never ends, you never feel like your getting a decebt or good deal and 99% of people are full of shit. Have some standards with your node or bitcoin will turn fiat like everything else around you. Run bip 110 and knots. Send these clowns a message, its the only time you can.
If it true Foundry had their hashers vote over the bip110 debate and 25-30% of the hash said bip110 its so fucking over for core and the shitcoiners, its not even funny.
The core side is bluffing so hard trying to pretend they have pocket aces so our side folds. They have nothing, they have 3,7 offsuit and im down to go all in. Real bitcoiners are here with their life savings on the table, we either win or your grandchildren will be slaves. The communist leaches and shitcoin grifters just move to where the money and attention is. They are fiat world con-men and can only be killed through hard, honest money.
The ability for us and the future generations to run full nodes and have pride in running them is paramount. If this potocol is not ran by pleb nodes who enforce the rules, it is doomed and will become less decentralized over time. If less and less individuals run them, trust in this network will decrease until there is none left. There is no light without the torch, there is no torch without the torch-bearers. Bitcoin is about ending central banking and the paracitical nature of our tyranical goverment. Allowing arbitrary data on chain does nothing to that end and the cost is passed onto the full nodes for zero benefit.
Would you rather have a future with over 1 million full nodes, full copies of the entire bitcoin ledger, spread across the globe. Anyone can become one, people want to become one and take pride in it. Or a future where there are only large institutional full nodes, everything else is a useless hollow excuse for decentralization. If you support the former vision you are pro bip110 and knots. If you support the latter, you should run core v30 and buy XRP while you're at it.
Bip110 will 100% win. I just hope it takes awhile and gives the coretards a chance to commit financial suicide. They deserve it.
The appealing to authority in the bitcoin community is pathetic. It's also mind blowing how many "bitcoiners" dont even understand what makes the protocol actually decentralized. Lastly the high time preference of these so called "bitcoiners" is fucking hilarious. They would trade in the ability to run a full node for NGU in a instant. Bitcoin is about killing central banking and ending the paracitical nature of our mondern political system. Not for you retards to be able to buy lambos and pop bottles. Go fuck yourself.
A torch without a torch-bearer is pointless and goes out. Couldnt have said it better myself. image
Bitcoin will be the only signal of truth in a world full of lies and deceit. Spam, inscriptions, and shitcoins are pure deceit. They must be purged from the chain. BIP-110
Saylors tweets suggest he is against bip110 (he doesnt have the balls to bluntly say anything). Let me explain how suits and genuine plebs will never get along in regards to the bitcoin protocol. He is a fiat suit taking on debt and payment obligations to stack sats in an approved and custodied manner. He cares more about bitcoin price and his fiat paper markets more than the longevity of the bitcoin protocol. The spam needs to be curtailed for the heath of this network long term and he is uncomfortable with the short term price movement of disagreements in bitcoin. He put himself and his company in a shitty situation and he wants the spam disagreement to disappear for his own short term self interest. He doesnt care about the actual long term health of the network. He is not a "bitcoiner" by my definition.
