Reason #94 why fiat and the nation state is ultimately doomed… Going through immigration at a US airport recently, standing in line behind a fairly prototypical white family returning from their vacation in the Cayman Islands. The officer asked each of the parents (paraphrasing here) “While in the Cayman Islands did you deposit or withdraw money from an offshore bank account or direct a third party to deposit or withdraw money from an offshore bank account?” They both answered no and were let through. Me wandering through immediately after with 24 words rattling around in my head… #bitcoin
