Our baby boy turned 6 months today 👶 Life is running really fast with him around. I am so proud of his progress but also feel little sad about it - he is not my little boy anymore. Few key points about previous 6 months: - I am proud of me because I still breastfeeding 💪 I had approximately two weeks when I feel like stopping and I really hate it. Now I want to do it as long as possible/comfortable for both of us. - Feeding 3 times a night feel like good sleep 💤 I don't even remember how does it feel to sleep at least 8 hours during night.. - Babies want to discover world and we shouldn't stop them and pass on them our fears. - Watching my baby sleep is much better than scrolling social media. - There is so much to learn and educate myself about (gentle parenting, BLW, nontoxic household..) but is also good to rely on intuition 🌟 - I am sometimes totally pissed of and angry (for no reason) and it turned out I am just hungry and tired. - My childhood traumas are resurfacing more than ever. - To do list is never ending story but we have to prioritize (for example playing CIV VI while baby is sleeping). - It is exhausting part of the life but I love it and I wouldn't change it ❤️

First time making homemade chicken ham - turn out really tasty and we know what we put in it 💪 #foodstr

Our 👶 is reaching for our food at every meal. He even starts to cry when he cannot touch it. So I start to prepare meals which he can also try. We want to go BLW with him but I wanted to wait till he is 6 months old. But never mind, yesterday he tried homemade chicken ham and today it was banana. I guess only like 1 gram of food ends in his mouth 😅 But it is so nice to see his enthusiasm and amazement when he taste it. Do you have any recommendations for child friendly meals? So far he tried (more likely put his hands in it) pork rib (only bone 😅), ham, scrambled eggs, baked salmon and banana, banana cookies. I also like to try new recipe and it beginning to be much more fun for me than before. For couple next days I would like to make puding, liver pate, whipped marrow, steak and maybe some veggie pancakes 🤔 #family #realfood

Hello #Nostr friends 👋 Life has been busy lately. With our baby and puppy we need to schedule our time more precisely than before. Now, I can't believe that I was tired before in my life 😅 after getting baby I feel like I know what is like to be exhausted. But getting puppy showed me next level of exhaustion. How our days look like now: My husband is sleeping at couch during night in living room with puppy. ⏰ Getting up around 6 - my husband is going for walk with Black - playing with baby boy in bed - breakfast 🗾 7.45 - 8.30 playing CIV 6 with my husband (baby boy and puppy are sleeping) - trying to clean a little - coffee ☀️ 9.15 - 10.45 it is my time to take care about baby boy and puppy. So I usually go to the garden (baby boy in carrier) and run with puppy around. During this time my husband can finally fully focus on work. - lunch 😴 13.00 - 14.30 sleeping with baby boy (sometimes I sleep as well or reading book - I love this time during day). Cuddling with cat Winky, because she misses us a lot - but she is afraid of dog so she usually stay in bedroom during day. My husband is working and puppy is next to him (if we are lucky, Black is sleeping - otherwise my husband need to be careful about what Black is chewing). At afternoon I start to be bit easier because my youngest sister is coming home from school. So someone is playing with puppy, someone is cooking dinner and someone is taking care of our baby. 💪 Then it is time for diner and shower. 💤 Around 19.15 our baby boy is going to sleep and it is time for me to do some dishes or focus on work. My husband is already exhausted and asleep on couch at that time 🫣 If we are both awake we watch one episode together. 🌒 I usually go to bed around 21.30 So that's basically it. I hope it will be less exhausting in a few weeks (months). But I am happy that we made this decision 🖤 #dogstr

At 6.45 he asleep again so I had 35 minutes for myself 👌 So I went to the garden with Black, cooked egg omelette and chill a bit. 😷 This shit is stronger than I thought. I believed that my immune system is strong but this illness take me down for longer than I expected. My husband also get this crap from Saturday and out baby boy has high fever from this night. I know that he is strong baby and it will probably pass soon but I feel so sorry for him (I also cried because of it - I hate when I feel powerless..). So now he sleeping on me and I tried to breastfeed as much as possible meanwhile coughing my lungs out.. How did you feel when you experience your child first illness? Hopefully we will be better soon 💪🌱

Yesterday we had such a nice day outside at garden and today I am sick 😷 My husband took day off from work and now he is taking care about our baby boy. I am grateful that they are doing so well together and I could take some rest. #grateful
