GM, hard money helps you make "the game slow down for you." You hear this phrase uttered during sports broadcasts all the time to describe athletes who are poised, calm, cool under fire, and performing at a high level. In a similar manner, #Bitcoin holders with a low time preference have slowed the game down. Never in a hurry, always going at the pace they want, knowing that everything will come to them in time. Fiat makes you rush, desperate to accumulate more melting USD tokens to cover your fiat debts. Bitcoin helps you slowly but surely grow your wealth.

AI is smart, but it's not wise. Wisdom is a unique human characteristic, and it is what makes us special. Wisdom is what allows us to take actions that help us to flourish as individuals and to help our fellow man flourish. The thing that concerns me about integrating AI into all parts of human society is that we risk losing touch with our divine wisdom. AI cannot feel emotions, it cannot have a direct connection to the Divine. In my estimation, that completely disqualifies it as a technology that can determine human affairs. Fair warning to the AI maximalists: be careful what you wish for.

Happiness comes and goes. It's fleeting. Life, liberty, and private property. These are the essential principles that make the United States the greatest country in human history. When we abide by these principles, nothing can stop us. 🇺🇸

Governments and banking cartels will likely take one of two paths in the coming years: The Big Print: a desperate attempt to inflate away their debts. The Great Taking: a desperate attempt to seize ordinary people's assets to save themselves from insolvency. In either scenario, #Bitcoin is the safest place to store wealth. In The Big Print scenario, Bitcoin takes us to Valhalla. Many millions per coin. In The Great Taking scenario, Bitcoin is the hardest asset to confiscate. Fiat deposits and third party custiodied securities get confiscated first. Given how fucked the global fiat monetary system is, Bitcoin will no longer become optional. It will become necessary for survival.

Here's the thing: #Bitcoin is a bearer asset. Meaning if you self-custody it properly, it is difficult if not impossible for anyone to confiscate it. Price action draws my attention just like everyone else, but I often remind myself that the alternative is holding the majority of my wealth in assets that are held by a custodian (a bank or a broker). That means I would have to put my life in someone else's hands. I would have to trust my custodians with my hard earned money. Now that we have a hard money that can be self-custodied, we can take our own lives into our own hands. I don't know about you, but that kind of asset is extremely valuable to me. So the Bitcoin price is interesting, but it's true value is immeasurable. Don't confuse price for value. Remember what the promise of Bitcoin truly means. Liberty.

Absurd that the liberals are dying on the Ukraine hill. Americans can hardly afford to feed themselves, and yet the left still "stands with Ukraine." We did that for 3 years and Ukraine lost. Americans reward for our generosity is $8 eggs. Thanks Biden. Thanks Zelensky. Completely out of touch. Truly insane. And likely only happening because Ukraine is a deep dark hole of the Democrats' corruption.

How early Bitcoiners are similar to the early Christians: - Misunderstood - Hated for their beliefs - Persecuted - Steadfast believers - Missionaries - Wedded to the truth - Willing to go to the ends of the Earth to spread their message - Attempting to win over hearts and minds despite improbable odds #Bitcoin

I don't know how anyone trusts the banks and the government after the 2008 financial crisis. I was an idiot teenage kid in 2008, and I had no clue what was going, but with more perspective and understanding of what happened as an adult, it strikes me that the crisis and the ensuing bailouts were a complete and utter betrayal. A large scale heist. An obvious one. Fuck all these people. #Bitcoin is the only hope.

If there's one thing I hope my generation changes about the world, it's that we stop profiting from waging war. Becoming wealthy from destroying human life has got to be the most evil, disgusting way to enrich yourself. We have the technology to achieve widespread abundance, but the endless warmongering and profiteering is holding us all back.

Great lesson learned through #Bitcoin Don't confuse the price of something for its value.

In a world where the vicious seem to always win, and the virtuous always seem to lose, society looks down on the virtuous. That's why you rarely meet deeply virtuous people. Most would rather die than to be labeled a "loser." Unfortunate, but true. Fortunately, #Bitcoin changes the paradigm. It flips it upside down. Virtue is now incentived, and after a long enough time, the majority will be virtuous and the vicious will be looked down upon.

I don't really have a stacking goal. I probably already have enough #Bitcoin My true goal is to build Bitcoin into the fabric of my life. Make it a habit. An operating system. James Clear says, "you don't rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems." So the system is: "use Bitcoin daily, for the rest of my life." It takes a lot of the pressure off. It makes me feel like I have enough, and I will always have enough. Now I get to settle in and enjoy the upcoming experiences in my life. If some years I spend more Bitcoin than I save, so be it. I'm sure there will be years where I stack more. This is the beautiful thing about sound money. Your anxiety about money melts away with every day that passes. When your anxiety about money is gone, you can finally focus on the present, and enjoy it.

Governments: steal your money through taxation. Banks: steal your money through inflation. Bitcoin: protects your money from taxation and inflation in an unbreakable cryptographic network that cannot be confiscated if custodied the right way. #Bitcoin it is then. 🫡

Collectivism is destroying Europe. Just like it destroyed Russia in the 1900's. Just like it destroyed Venezuela, Argentina, Cuba, and so on... Collectivism came for America too, but it seems there are just enough freedom loving patriots still left here to fight it off and prevent it from destroying the USA. Not to say the fight is over, it just seems like Americans are ready and willing to fight for our liberty, just like our ancestors did. Got #Bitcoin? Ready to liberate America?

BAD time to be a bureaucrat. The tech bros and capitalists have had it with their shit and are playing to win. This DOGE thing is a relentless attack on the parasite class. I am still very wary of Trump and Musk, but boy is it beautiful to see the bureaucrats sweating for the first time in a long time.

Tinfoil hat time: Nation states are going to build their strategic #bitcoin reserves through the ETFs because the financial institutions have them all by the balls. Plus, Blackrock and co have more ability to do their fuckery through the ETFs, manipulating the price through fancy behind the scenes bullshit. Just a thought experiment. Abu Dhabi is just one data point...
