This is nostr in a nutshell. I am not sure if its the best way to create a censorship-resistant social network. A fork of nostr that focuses on privacy, security and multi-party bitcoin protocols could work better for all use cases.

You can connect to the nostr relays that published this note, use this IP address to connect with DNS resolver. Associating npubs with IP addresses isn't a big deal either.
However, nostr works best when its kept simple. Adding more complexity and trying to do everything ends up in a system that cannot do basic things properly.
I had several options for joinstr and researched different protocols, distributed networks etc. however nostr was the easiest to work with because of its simplicity.
