It feels like something big is brewing and everyone can feel it. The counter punch to trump winning the election is in the works but nobody knows when or what it will be. The tragic event in New Orleans and the blown up cyber truck in Vegas feel like the warm up for what’s to come. I hope I’m wrong and it’s instead a peaceful time for everyone but that’s just not what it feels like

Where attention goes, energy flows

It would be pretty cool if you could somehow publicly see a wager that two or more users make. You see people put money on the line for something they believe in all the time, it would be cool to see that implemented online for all to follow along. It could also potentially help users to sort out real from bullshit if someone can call somebody by wagering real stakes on something measurable

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, I fucking love the value for value system. I just subscribed to @primal premium and it feels so good to provide value to them in the form of sats in exchange for the value they provide me in an exceptional user experience on Nostr. It feels so good to be the customer and not the product. This is what a healthy relationship with social media companies looks like, the days of the predatory social media experience are coming to an end. Slowly but surely people will experience the feeling I have right now and never go back to the old model. We are still so early but this switch is inevitable

The “deep state” is certainly planning something to undermine the trump administration. Maybe the drones in New Jersey have something to do with that plan, maybe they don’t. Either way, I have a deep gut instinct something big is coming and it’s going to be rooted in fear

Instead of rule OF law we are ruled BY law. These two things are not the same. Rule of law is a set of laws that ALL of society must follow. Ruled by law is an administrative class that imposes the law where they see fit, usually in asymmetric fashion

2025 is going to be a year of fluidity and Bitcoin is the most fluid resource

Shitcoins take the existing 3rd party verification system and put it on a blockchain. Bitcoin is its own verification system

The current version of the internet is like a lake, it’s essentially its own ecosystem that has clearly defined borders and is independent from every other lake. Nostr is like the ocean, there are many “different” oceans that have unique characteristics but if you look at a globe it’s just one giant body of water that connects everything together into one giant ecosystem
