Not long ago, I dreamt I was outside trying to read my license plate. I was convinced it was 't a dream because I saw it so clearly.
I had to write it down for some reason, maybe it was an insurance thing, I dont remember.
It became more difficult to read when writing was so necessary... and I nearly woke, recognizing the dream state at this point.
But I didnt wake up. I kept going, only now I was lucid, dreaming consciously.
I walked back into my house after completing my task. To the right, immediately when walking in, there is laundry room on the right.
I turned to look into this room as the door was open.
At the end of the room, quite different than in real life, there was a stairway leading down into what I assume would have been a basement.
My house doesn't have a basement. And the thought of going down the stairs frightened me.
It shook me pretty good actually, and I didnt go.
I woke up shortly after.
My fear kept me from the underworld. I intuitively know this is where it led.
A massive adventure and a pathway to incredible insight was avoided due to this fear.
For months now, I've asked for the portal to return to my dreams, but to no avail.
I hope I have another chance before I die.
