Apparently my HOA, which alread installed Flock cameras, is now implementing a car that drives around and surveils the property but they are calling it "inspections" and expressly saying its not surveillance. So....here we go. Recommendations from the real ones out here?

I reminded my wife yesterday that most people have a below average IQ. Say what you want about it as a metric generally, but it's a good short cut and it helps you take inventory of the people you interact with--both in that it reduces the amount of time you waste on certain people but also increases your ability to empathize with people who have skulls full of raisonettes.

During my quasi-meditative practice where I close my eyes and drift toward sleep, with regular breathing and while staying gently alert, I slipped into a state where the darkness yielded to extraordinarily vivid, moving scenes, which has happened before but this time went differently. Rather than the usual random colors or dream-like fragments, these scenes possessed a high-fidelity, immersive quality—as if I were witnessing real events unfolding in real time. As the visuals intensified and my sense of self began to loosen, my visual field brightened dramatically and my heart rate surged, triggering a visceral alarm that afterward reminded me of the intensity and ego-dissolution associated with 5-MeO-DMT. Frankly, I got nervous that I was dieing. Like, my nervous system had reached a threshold, I pulled back and opened my eyes, returning to ordinary consciousness but it came with a lingering mix of awe and confusion. I can't tell if I'm on to something or if I almost killed myself. I doubt it's the latter but the fucking ambulance in the city background noise didn't help me feel like I was in danger. This sounds all stupid and woo-woo, but that's where I'm at right now.

I've asked this before but no one answered me. Most of the txs in mempool right now are "runestones" but wtf are those and wtf are they and also wtf are they? No one is trading those things anymore as far as I can tell I can't even find a place to do so if I was inclined to do so, so the idea that these mostly worthless NFTs could compete in an escalating fee market seems like a stupid position to take. Obviously if fees go up these data txs would dwindle no?

The best part about bitcoin is that projects which are full of shit fail much, much faster than in other domains.

Anyone know why my zaps aren't coming into my minibits wallet?I've temporarily made my alby wallet my zap adress again but my @Minibits app wallet is no longer showing incoming zaps for anxouple of days though nostr is indicating people were zapping my notes
