I think this community is so connected due to the feature of zaps. Think about all the mainstream social medias; most comment sections are just people having heated debates.. on Nostr we have discussions. Why is that? Because how could I argue with you if you’ve just sent me sats? It’s also just a better way to let people know you like their content rather than just a simple like.

When I was 20 I got arrested and locked up with a 26 month sentence. Life hasn’t been easy since but it’s a hell of a lot better than being incarcerated. Every day on the outside is a blessing that can’t be taken for granted.

recently I deleted the majority of my mainstream social media platforms. I like the decentralized nature of Nostr, I just wish there was more adoption. Guess I gotta start shilling it to everyone 🤣
