I am 300 pages into the new #WindandTruth from Sanderson, and story-wise, I am enjoying it aside from all the woke nonsense I feel is so out of place. It's very disappointing and surprising as this one seems so much more in your face than all the other. I understand that "fantasy" probably tends to lean woke, and he probably got pressure to do it, but it's so blatant in this one that it seems like more bending the knee than anything else. I find it distracting.

Something that concerns me this holiday season is hearing family members working from home, talking about what they actually spend most of their time on and their blockers. The amount of bloat and inefficiency AI could eliminate has me worried for their jobs. I hear some of their meetings and think, “There’s no way this exists in 5 years.” It’s not that they won’t find more work, but there will undoubtedly be a reckoning as companies cut bloat and value creation decentralizes.

Who is building the sick plugin that will allow me to easily add a forward to my domain so my lightning address can be a domain I own? @Alby ?

The high-quality content @Lyn Alden has been pumping out lately is inspiring. I'd say this is done in two ways: 1. for the amount as it is so steady but- more importantly, 2. The technical depth and clarity of the content. I'm fascinated by extreme producers like this. Hearing Brandon Sandersons writing process was eye-opening and inspiring to me. Does anyone know if she has put her process anywhere? I also love tips from the greats
