Put aside the fact that parents are putting themselvea between their creatures and the Creator. I find that the big part of being a priest is to feel like shit for everyone. This is pain, to see the evil of this world eat your sons alive.

As a priest, among other things, i deal with death.
I visit the sick, and have seldom heard last words. I've been the guy at the threshold for many and this thing has a beauty all of its own.

It happens that i'm celebrating funeral mass in a packed church and be the only guy who knows what is happening. I often have to do both parts of the dialogue.
