People always talk about lack of money, lack of opportunity, or bad luck, but the truth is that often what destroys a person’s life is a loss of faith.
Somewhere along the way, you get so tired that you can no longer imagine a better future. It’s as if your mind has slowly become convinced that this is how it is and that nothing is going to change.
And that’s the most dangerous point.
Because a person is not completely defeated as long as they can still imagine better days.
Believing is a strange thing. It doesn’t require money, special circumstances, or extraordinary talent. You just have to be careful not to feed your mind with despair every day.
The world is full of voices that constantly remind you of what you don’t have, how far behind you are, and why you probably won’t succeed. If you’re not careful, those voices slowly become the voice inside you.
But life always changes from the moment a person decides to still have hope for their tomorrow, despite today's reality.
Not out of naivety. Not with motivational slogans. Just with this calm and human decision that
"Maybe it's not all over yet."
